Still applies to the relevance of 3d rendering in the likeness of humans.
2d sprites are not close enough to hold "too human" of our symbalence, but 3d sprites are too close without being correct in its movements (body language, eye movement, facial features, ect) as well as trying to be flawless makes it more respectable than a 2d sprite.

No they aren't. The 3D models in loveplus look extremely cartoonish and are not 'too human' in any way shape or form. So 'uncanny valley' does not apply.

Love Plus+ was really good on an XL, but even though this is 3D, the small screen of the 3DS feels like a downgrade for this kind of games.
