Question about going to Gensokyo:

I know if you make a portal the hard way (say, through self-immolation), that your casket will be closed during the funeral process. But is there any way to ensure that you will not have a funeral at all?

What if you make a portal by digging deep into the earth and then covering yourself so that your body isn't found? Can those pesky Earthlings still give you a funeral?

I guess it's silly to care about such things, as you would be in Gensokyo at that point anyway.
