This is not fair! Madoka and Kyouko are too fucking strong, Homu and Sayaka are pretty strong too and Mami is so damn weak! WHY?! Mami is my favorite character... this is really not fair! I got Mami all the way to the final boss and lost her at the last five pixels of health.
Most of my fighting was just spamming 6x instant jump cancel 6x instant double jump cancel 6x.
That move is ridiculous for clearing screens.
And with the first two bosses, you can almost literally have her fly above the map and spam z with impunity.

Sayaka and Kyouko become pretty much useless.

Madoka is top tier, Homura could use some more soul points but isn't so bad. Haven't tried Mami yet.

It's harder to dodge one hit kills when you're a melee. 677 basically consists of rounding up all enemies into one group and wailing on them for 5 minutes.

I cleared lap 51 using Sayaka only, so while I've been getting destroyed on higher laps no matter what character I choose, I'm pretty sure that it's mainly because I suck and not that any of the girls aren't ultimately viable. I'm currently working on lap 77.

Very mobile combo machine, also very easy to charge into enemy attacks if you aren't careful. This means getting one-shot a lot on later laps, unless you're a lot better than I am.

All ranged, all knockback, able to hit a wider variety of places than anybody else. Low mobility, no real melee attacks means enemies at close range or approaching from multiple directions are much more dangerous.

Want to break combo records? Select highest lap, machinegun spam on Big Anthony. Plays similar to Madoka but has more trouble juggling large groups of enemy, and takes more damage. Time Stop is great for getting out of trouble.

You can cancel the delay on her attacks by jumping, which means she pumps out about three times as much damage as Mami. If you're just "sitting there" you are playing her horribly.

Most unbalanced character in the game. Highest defense, fastest, highest dps and lowest revive cost. Sayaka is undoubtedly the easiest character to play as because she's broken.

>Kyouko

More balanced than Sakaya but still damn good. What she has over Sakaya is range. Until you realize Sayaka's greatness, you'll think Kyouko is the best.

>Homura

Hardest to character to play as, bar none. Lowest defense, lowest soul time and highest revive cost. This doesn't make much of a difference in lap 1 but the later laps will be a nightmare unless you're really good at the game.

>Mami

Worst character in the game. Sorry Mami fans. Again, this doesn't mean much in the early laps but later, you will be forced to realize how bad she is. She's Homura without the potential. All she's really good for is her special which is a boss killer.

>Madoka

If you're good at keeping enemies off you, Madoka is the best. Unfortunately that's easier said than done. It takes skill to use her because she's a glass cannon. Madoka is probably the best co-op partner you could have.

As for the error, it doesn't really say anything. Just your usual "Application has found an error and needs to close" as soon as I try opening either of the files.

I just finished the first lap as Mami, I really liked her attacks and was doing pretty well through the end, but I keep hearing that she's bad. Does he damage not scale as she levels up as well as the others or something?

She has a small number of low damage attacks. Everyone else has strengths and weaknesses but Mami is either equal or worse in every regard. The only person I know who thinks she's good has played her exclusively and just spammed <> X and tiro finale and still died in lap 2.

Damage against boss-wise all characters are roughly the same.
The thing that makes Sayaka and breaks every other character is that Sayaka has a brokenly low revive cost. This is very important since stage mobs can and do 1-hit you in later laps. Mami can revive 2 times at best, Sayaka can revive more than 10 times, you make the decision.
