I came up with this great idea to hang up a towel I got, but it looks pretty stupid now that I look at it...

How does /jp/ hang up dakimakura/towels/sheets?

>> No.7704267

How the fuck did you get Jakuri on a towel?

>> No.7704274

You only hang posters, not towels or sheets.

Guess the best way to hang a towel on the wall is with really small nails or screws.
You shouldnt hand dakimakura sheets, though. It's disrespectful

Wouldn't nails damage them?
And when you have 11 dakimakuras you can;t really have them all on pillows.

Brilliant idea #3
I'll try putting screws through the metal parts of the clipboards only, and place them directly on the wall!

I'm sure more will end up on Yahoo eventually.
Just use Celga. http://www.celga.com/

>> No.7704609

>>7704410
Yeah... I used Celga once as a test, to see how it goes.
Let's just say don't ever use it to buy cheap items. I tried an Etna Bikkuriman sticker from a japanese auction site, which i got for like 4 dollars with 2 dollars shipping, and after everything was processed and done it cost me over 30-40 dollars.
I realize it probably works great for products that have a higher price because the difference won't be that great, but I don't have that kind of money to throw around ( at least I'm assuming those bathtowels cost a lot )

I'd sell my left nut for that sheet on the bed.

Turn it into a wall scroll. Get a dowel rod, then fold the top of the towel over the rod. Mark the location and baste stitch it into place, then slide the dowel rod into the hole that you've made for it (or use regular stitches if you want to make it permanent). You can then hang the dowel rod on some hooks.

It's unrelated to the hanging, but that towel would look a lot nicer if you ironed out the creases.

This goes for pretty much any type of otaku merch. Looks tacky, especially when it is that overdone

What about if I put magnetic tape along the wall and place magnets to hold up the fabric?
That seems like it would do less damage.

>> No.7712879

I've always wondered how to put stuff up on walls without too much harm. Sadly I don't want to harm either the wall or the poster/cloth, but I guess the wall is first to suffer damage when push comes to shove.
