For those of you confused, it is common in Japan/Korea to pay $35 subscription. EME stated the NA players will not be paying that much. It will most likely be $15 just like every other MMO in NA. If they charge any more people are just going to go back to WoW or whatever other cheaper MMO they were playing.

They are changing the aesthetics for SOME of the Elin armor. They are refusing to go into depth with what they are doing or their reasons behind it. But we know it's a form of censorship and they are doing it to prevent an outcry in America. They did it to protect their profits from the normalfags.

This "censorship" is more of a case of not knowing or understanding how to localize for a foreign market. There's no way they could change this game enough for it to appeal to "western tastes" so its original look is, in fact, the only selling point the game has in the west.

They may have delusions of making it big but ironically america only really has moral panics over violent games. No one will ever hear about this game enough to complain about it, so they're extremely paranoid if that's their reasoning.

Either way, it's a bad decision, but one that will ultimately not make much difference.

Ive played the game before on a Korean server. You cannot resume the download. I had to buy a Korean social security number, and account, as you will - if you want to play the game at all in Korea. The Japanese beta has beenr eleased and is much easier to get into, however.

I think they could easily make it in such a way as to make everyone happy. When the loader preforms a hash check it should be checking for two different hashes. Korean client with NA scripts, and the standard NA. That way the art is interchangeable.

From someone who has been in FGT1&2 and the CPE. The combat is fun. It is most like Monster Hunter in terms of combat. You have a base attack button that chains four times that for melees builds mana. Which you spend on special attacks.

All the elites while leveling are designed to be soloable with outdoor bosses which are designed to be 5manned.

Endgame? No endgame yet, politics, 5man dungeons and battlegrounds so far.

Also the NA Producer has been extremely tight-lipped about the game.

How are you launching the game? My proxy wouldn't let me press game start on the website, but if I just turn it on then open the patcher and go from there it works fine.

Now I just need to figure out where / if I can turn off the proxy somewhere
