There is a thing that i am not sure on Yuyuko.

In her past, is she sacrificed to seal the Saigyou Ayakashi,or she committed suicide because of her own powers, and then her corpse was used?

>> No.7671479

Her corpse was used alright.

>> No.7671484

I'd use her corpse, if you know what I mean.

Always figured she committed suicide, but out of duty as part of the sacrifice and not for personal reasons.

Wonder why it is so rarely you see depictions of ghosts interacting with their own corpses.

On second thought, perhaps it is better that way.

Although why on the same theme, there also seems to be some confusion about the state of Yuyuko's corpse.

Usally assume it would be long gone, bones and all, considering it was over a millennium ago. But heard at least one suggestion that the demon-tree-with-a-way-too-long-name somehow keeps her corpse perfectly preserved, ready to pop back up any second.

I like that doujin's explanation that Yukari sealed off the area surrounding the tree, preserving it all from the ravages of time.
