I fail to get why Touhou has never made it to this bundle considering it's the third one, and considering it holds the World Guinness Record of the most successful indie shooter series. Is it because this is more like a Humble Hipster Bundle rather than an Indie Bundle? Is it because non-Western games don't count on this one? Is it because hipsters jerk off to platformers with faux-80s graphics? Or what am I missing?

In b4 doujin != indie, doujin is indie and you know it damn well.

On second thought, I took a look at the games. They're basically:

>Retro graphics sidescroller

Put KS and Touhou and it becomes:

Because ZUN is not making the games to sell them. He said he would even create them if all of his fans would disappear. He's making them because he enjoys doing it.

That is very different from these 8bit retro pixel obscure hipster indie devs that just try to make money with their games. All of these games in the bundle have been sold already, they are just added because they want some more money and publicity.

It's because ZUN doesn't give a shit about western markets whatsoever, and because Japanese in general have seem to have some sort of weird hesitation about digital distro systems. I seriously doubt if we'll ever see them get an official english release, much less on steam, and frankly I kind of doubt they would sell particularly well either.
