That's the thing though, if you start eating flesh and "accept it" you may as well not be vegetarian anyway. It was the same when I went to Germany. Stopped in Holland and then in Germany, and unless you make your own dish at the service station, you find meat everywhere. I couldn't even find anything vegetarian at one cafe, not even a cheese sandwich. I asked for a plate of pasta once, and it came covered in mechanically recovered mince. Was disgusting. I will at least learn how to say "Vegetarian" next time.

Eating vegetarian is no problem in Germany. You get pommes frittes and pizza almost everywhere. Spaghetti pesto or with tomato sauce shouldn't be a problem either. What you had on your plate is bolognese. Hell, even McDonalds has a vegetarian burger these days.
Also, in Germany you don't really eat something larger in a Café. You drink coffee and eat cake. Is that different where you live?

It was my first time there. I really didn't expect them to eat so much meat. At the first service station I stopped at, there was a food counter but everything servable was meat, I looked around but the only thing I could get was a glass of orange juice. The second one was an open counter, where you walk along and put stuff on your plate and I was starved by that time and my food was delicious, it was like eating a rainbow, lots of nice veg and stuff on it. Then when I got to my hotel I didn't really know what the names of stuff was, so mostly went without food.

Yes, I found a back street pizza/chip shop with a TV inside, and looked on the menu and saw some pasta and asked for it with chips, it didn't say anywhere on the menu that it came with meat. It was just annoying.

So far I've had a piece of chicken breast, 3 whole eggs scrambled with milk, and something like a couple litres of water. I'm waiting on some delivery right now, consisting of a delicious wrap and some poutine, as well as two cans of soda (but I'll save one of those).

For later I need to eat some fruit, so an apple will do, and I'll probably get some cauliflower (fuck that word). As well, more water, and maybe some beans or rice (as well as whatever else I can get in me).

I'm currently shooting for a 3000kcal bulk, trying to put on some weight so my lifts can go up accordingly. I'm about 136lbs right now, and I bench ~1x bw, squat ~1.333333x bw, and deadlift 1.5x.

Long post is longish.
