You basically buy skins for your characters, wich can be changed with a few clicks in the game directory anyways.
Therefore the only people who buy skins are the ones suporting the game maker or the ones who are to lazy to mod their games.

Otherwise its completely free to play and using real money has no actual influence on the gameplay whatsoever.

It is also beginner friendly as well as having advanced high level play.
It's perfect for /jp/,

Well before, you could dick around in the HeroPak and literally just swap some file names, so the default skins would show up as whatever skin you wanted. Not sure how it works with the new patcher; haven't really cared too much to find out either, but there's probably a similar method.

Leona doesn't have any potential as a DPS/tank hybrid. Main reason for this is probably because her AP ratios suck dick. She can't be a Maokai or Chogath or whatever. And playing her as AD is retarded since you can just use better champs like Jarvan or Irelia.

But the thing is that pure tank is completely useless for anything besides not dying while the other team just focuses everyone else. At least when you get SOME ap you have enough damage to actually help kill something quickly in team battle and then you can start playing crowd control with everyone else.

I think her real problem is that she kinda has a bad design to really work as one extreme or the other

Your job as Leona isn't doing damage, you just have to engage and triple-stun the enemy's carry in order to win a teamfight. And if both carries and the mage/ad are dead in both teams, you have to protect your remaining teammates, stunning those who are trying to kill them. It's fun to play.

Yeah, Maokai is not that good IMO, but it was just an example since I couldn't think of anything else at the time. He's still better than Leona at damage though.
