Is one yamame doujin with a happy end too much to ask?

But the bad end is the whole appeal

She got herself a new dress at the end of this one. I'd say it was pretty happy.

Disease woman's story wasn't really a bad end.

It was kind of bittersweet but it gave us bartender yamame on the page afterword.

Nonsense. Yamame is actually polite and tries to warn humans from stepping into hell.

>>7648169
This is more like it.

Speed Rabbit is also releasing anew book, this time taking on Tamura Ryoko from Kiseijuu, as a Housekeeper wife.

Parasyte was completed how long ago? Not that it isn't awesome and all but damn. Shamefully it probably won't be scanned/translated unless one of the 8 people who were reading manga back then commissions it.
(I hope it has at least one dickarm joke)

You know more Yamame doujins to begin with would be great I've only seen like 11 ever.

Parasyte is one of those horror mangas from the 90s that lots of people read along with Kazuo Umezo's works because of their distinctive guro style. Hence why Franken Fran gained attention as well.

I do believe it'll get scanned, since the sheer fact that more people have read Parasyte today means more chances to get interested in it, I don't see why the date of reading matters.

new doujins for alot of older series get waylaid in my past lurking in the scanning thread experience.

I remember being a pretty depressed anon about never seeing a few ones from series like karakuri circus, 3x3 eyes and hell even YKK never even get mentioned. It wasn't small circle stuff either.

Parasyte still has a pretty decent following, even amongst new readers.

Such is the fate of classics. They never grow old.

By the way, I heard that Hollywood is going to make a movie of it in the future.

That's what was announced four fucking years ago, with zero updates since then.

At least the Akira movie gets updates, with a planned sequel already. barf

... I just read the works of the studio supposedly working on it... and it has a very long and disappointing list of sucky films and muppet show pictures and tv shows.

Perhaps it is for the best that they never finish it.

My bad, I meant SIX years ago, the only announcement being in a two-sentence long ANN article with a redirect to a Hollywood Reporter article page that doesn't exist anymore.

Can't get any more obscure than that, unless they renamed it near the beginning of production and called it District 9.
