I made a class full of popular anime, game and VN characters and left them to their own devices(at 3x) to see what would happen. I found Konata (lucky star) blowing Taichi(cross channel) on the rooftop on the second day, and Chie and Yukiko (persona 4) forged a relationship together. Asa from shuffle is also the most confessed to so far, but she isn't in any relationships, playing hard to get I guess~

it's better to learn how to manually insert and edit the files yourself, personally i don't use the wizard app, that way i can handpick the textures and meshes i like and mix em with my own stuff

as in everything in a single place? i don't think so

let's see, from the top of my head
-check HF for threads about the way illusion packs the pp files otherwise trial and error will probably net results (as long as you remember to back up)
-the japanese use the SB3 utility a lot, so you might have to dig up some old threads about it
-pick an image editor and start learning your way around it, start with the very basics of layer manipulations; also learn about uv mapping
-once you're confortable with those, learn how to create meshes and work with em in the sb3 utility


it's a lot of reading for your average 4chan user i know, but since you asked i tried to give you a complete answer

SB3utility is pretty easy to use. Ctrl+o opens a file and double or single clicking most stuff will give you the contents. You can also drag files into the application window. Like for instance the eye textures, you can drag those in the sb3utility window and they'll show up under images. This makes it very easy to replace the resources in question.

Honestly, I don't get the relationships in this game sometimes.
At the start of the day, a certain girl was at 3 love points with my character (Note: I don't edit anything, I just check whether my lovers are cheating on me with other men), which should put her view of me in "Who?" or whatever. However when I asked her how she was, she had 80%, which meant that she considered me a friend.
Now, when I asked her to study with me and talk with her studies after, apparently the relationship increased to such a level that she confessed a minute after (I accepted if only because I was interested in how much she thought of me in three interactions). And yet the save editor at the end of the day shows that she still has 3 love points for me.

to help point you guys on the right direction

what that mod actually did was change the "mask" tint that's applied over the hair colors, there're different masks for each section and hair accesories, so technically if what you want is just to add "light" effects you can just change that (i changed all that stuff since i dont like the excessive roots effect illusion uses)

on the other hand if you want to change the colors per se those are hardcoded as numbers not textures, haven't really played with those so i can't provide further data without entering in a new project and i'm still finishing this one and my frankenwaifu

and if you want to create hair styles you'll have to work with the xx files for your desired "hair part"(8 pps) and the master lst files on the 00 pp

So according to the wiki you can change the background music to whatever you want with AAXplay as long as you use .wav. I did this for a couple of the tracks but it doesn't seem to have worked. Does it have to be a certain type of .wav (16 bit, 32 bit, mono, stereo, sampling rate, etc) or do I just need to make .wavs to replace all the tracks for them to work? Or is it something else?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help.
I'm trying to edit a custom hair mesh and the small glasses mesh, but they won't show up in the character maker. I'm editing the mesh then replacing it in the .pp file as well as applying the materials and textures, but that's all. I don't know if I have to dick around in the .lst or .svi files.
Modding is brand-spanking new to me and I can't find any tutorials or help regarding how to mod this game specifically and I don't know if I have to do anything special.

"Must be love!" can also be platonic, unfortunately. Is your character's sexual orientation wrong (or theirs)? For example, if your character is a gay male, your advances on females will fail 100% of the time.

You can usually tell this is happening if your efforts at ecchi actions give 0% results.
