Hello, we're the Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles translation team from /m/.

We're working on Day After 0, Chicken Divers and Day After 1. No plans yet for the other stuff.

We might be able to finish this faster if we have some help translating, send a resume in to altchronicles at hotmail.co.jp.

The last time I did something like this though I got a bunch of kisama yatsu i lurnd japones form naruutoes tards, so please attach a photograph or scan of at the very least a JLPT 1 certificate.

Also write a bit about why you want to work on this, and what previous experience you have with the ML series and maybe military stuff.

Day After 0 should be done by late November or December.

>> No.7621005

To elaborate on Ixrec's translation....

Looking at the translation in general it seems he's pretty bad at Japanese, he leaves too many things untranslated, kisama-yatsu style (EYSHEES EVERYWHERE) plus Muv-Luv has a lot of references towards old Japanese giant robot anime and he has no clue about any of them. Most of the references thus end up mistranslated.

Also there was another guy on /m/ translating Muv-Luv and Alternative long before Ixrec showed up, but that fucker Ixrec just showed up out of nowhere and snatched the project one day and shat all over it, so he comes off as kind of a flaming asshole.

I was under the impression that this particular was abandoned? I remember hearing about it years before Ixrec started translating Muv-Luv, but without a website and status updates, I just assumed it was a dropped project. At least Strato talked with the VNTLStatus guy about his Baldr Sky project.
