Not really. A scene in one of the routes kind of goes into detail about the murders in Cartagra, but nothing other than that. I'm pretty sure it's during this cg, so if you're that worried about it just use the skip function if it pops up.

I'm kinda lost in pp. When and why does Godou defect? He is unhappy with the boss amassing riches for his own enjoyment but it is never specified when or why did he defect. Aoi just comes out of nowhere and attacks his home at night.

Ironically, in one route she tries to become Touko and forces Reiji to fuck her, threatening to commit suicide if he didn't. If I had a choice in the matter, I would personally choose to kill the bitch myself.

Is there anyway to get the trial translated? I just really wanna read the art room scene with Yui and fake Toko's monologue. It's pretty short, I doubt it would take more than a few hours to translate. /jp/ has done group translations before, how about it guys?

Riff Raff is a plot item so I can overlook issues with it like using Sousuke's piano acoustics to hypnotize and control people so I don't even try to follow its logic but the Godou issue is a narrative one, it should make sense.

I don't like nor dislike those scenes. I've always expected him to have more impact in the main story (both Cartagra and pp) due his shady character but up to now, Chapter 7 of Ayane's route, he is just someone who gives you extra undercooked takoyakis every time you talk to him.

Danbooru/Gelbooru have Tojiko and Orihime tagged in this picture but I don't see them. Am I missing something or did someone mistake Mizuhara Toko for one of them?

What the fuck pp, what the fuck? I thought that the plot couldn't get worse and more convenient but the true end's climax is too anticlimactic:
Kuon: "That boring thing can't control me"
Ouzenji drops the gun and commits suicide followed by some vague statement that he could have been controlled by someone.

I hope that the Inogure scenario in Nagomibako is worth the time wasted on pp. And someone please tell me that Caucasus' plot is at least on par with Cartagra/KnS or I'll look for another eroge to waste my time on.

Of course it's a lot better than PP Pianissimo's story. No wonder the writer didn't work on anything else for them after this. I warned you not to expect anything out of Pia regarding story. Caucasus has decent but short story though with good climax in the true ending (it's just sadly one 'brainstorming' section unlike the several in KnS).
I reckon it's worth reading for awesome jazz music and Sugina Miki art alone, despite the facepalm story, but seems you may have developed a different opinion on the matter.

Probably not, it's more like, I said you should read it otherwise you'd have no clue about who those charas in Nagomibako's crossover scenario (it's comedy stuff though mainly), which wouldn't be enjoyable that way.

Being a reader of Agatha Christie, that was the original reason that I played it KnS but after actually playing it and finding out that it is very difficult to clear without external help, I'm not discouraged by the lack of those scenes.

This thread is pretty much dead. Looks like the 10 people who were gonna play and discuss this are already done and over with it. Kind of reminds me of Swan Song, which was never mentioned again after it's initial release. I guess most people don't have an appeal for dark, serious, dramatic VNs. It might not be a bad thing though, since I'd rather not have the people at /a/ and /v/ talk about how it's bad because they didn't like it or how it's the greatest masterpiece of all time.

I also heard it didn't sell particularly well on mangagamer. Hopefully they'll still release Cartagra, but after seeing the endings in KnS and getting a bit spoiled I'm A LOT less excited about it and it wouldn't really be a big deal to me anymore if they decided not to.

I think I'm just gonna go read Cartagra before I get any farther into KnS.
