and Yuyuko was a fun surprise for stage 1 even with the inevitable silly railing that comes along with demotions like that.

Its still nice that the Hard and Lunatic are worth it, normal is like easy for any other game but then you switch to lunatic and suddenly lightspeed bullets everywhere.

I'm still kind of curious if there's any logic to the psycho-modo BGM, is it just the regular music with another track layed over it or what?

I wouldn't be so quick to call TD Normal to be easy mode of any game. So far it's at least harder than PCB Normal, although that's not saying much either. Not only that, ZUN really made Yoshika's first card a real bitch to capture on Normal. I usually only have a second left when I do manage to capture it, and I've only been able to do it with Sanae.

Maybe its just me then, since I can't get past Alice without bombing or losing a life, whereas with TD I can play up to Yoshika's last cards before worrying about bombs. There's also my amusement with one of Kyoko's cards saving me more often then killing me.

Well, admittedly I can make her first card trivial with Youmu slash spam, but that'll only time her out since it'll heal her more than hurt her. And it's just no fun that way. Her non-cards can be kind of annoying too. I've never had too much trouble with Alice.

I'm entertaining myself by failing on lunatic until the full game comes out. Saddened by the lack of deathbombing, but pleased by the music and Youmu's shot type.

Sick of this life/bomb fragment bullshit. I hate it.
Trance is cool, but needs work. It activating when you die does nothing to help you and just completely screws you over. This NEEDS to be changed or TD will suck really badly.

+ Many different shots that aren't just a look change.
+ HYPER MODE

And I didn't like that spirit thing collection, it forces you to be on the top half of the screen 99,9% of the time... but he could just change the position where those things appear... or make them auto-collectable.

Anyway, I know ZUN will redeem himself by making Sakuya a Boss... I feel it in my pectorals.
