I had a good time, but I spent too much at Sakuracon and Fanime to buy much. I picked up the Suwako fumofumo though, so I was happy enough. I dunno if I'll go to AX again though, they had tons of issues and the dealers' hall markups were the worst I've ever seen even booths that had been at the other two cons had a twenty percent markup over their previous prices AX seems to be the con you go to for guests, almost on the level of being an industry style convention, since everything other than the big name guests was pretty weak.

Yeah, everyone told me that the prices were pretty high this year, and there were many booths that I just had to stay away from because of crazy prices.

It depends on where you're travelling from and what you're going to cons for, but this is one of the most poorly-run one on the west coast in my opinion. Fanime is much smaller and yet has a comparable dealers' hall, Sakuracon is about half the size, which is still stupidly large, has a comparable dealers' hall, almost comparable guest list, and manages to schedule more interesting things with the guests, not fuck up the lines, not fuck up the autograph sessions, etc. I'd definitely recommend going to some other cons if you managed to get enjoyment out of AX and seeing what you think.

Went to the Miku and Nirgilis concerts, which were cool. Didn't buy a whole lot. I got that Support Miku Nendoroid, managed to find an Azusa Nendoroid for a good price (the booth then put up another one for $10 more an hour later). Luckily Kinokuniya had Fate/Complete Material 4 since it would have cost a fortune to buy online.

>>7581946
Nothing worth having gets marked down significantly. One booth marked down some of their Griffon touhou stuff and some of the nendos, and it was still 15% over what I'd be willing to pay, even considering the fact that I'd be skipping out on shipping costs. The stuff that gets heavy markdowns is the shit no one wants, so that stupid 14 year olds will buy it and think they got a good deal on something. Also, if it's worth having, there typically aren't more than one or two of it at a US dealers' hall... Out of the hundreds of vendors, there was a handful of Touhou figs, and the only ones that there were multiple of were recently released nendos. The doujin sellers tended not to have more than one or two copies of anything. Anything Vocaloid that isn't still in stock online for much cheaper either wasn't available in the hall or was 125% of its price on auction sites. The only thing you can do at these dealers' halls is to go in knowing exactly what's worth how much, and buy it immediately if the vendor doesn't realize and is actually undercharging for once (that happens a lot at Sakuracon, that's why I ended up without much spending money at AX).

Basically what I did this year really. Was carrying around tons of cash too. But other than the goofy dealer hall I liked the panels, the cosplayers, and the artists alley.

Noticed that this year all the artist alley people were drawing current series and stuff. That was really cool; usually they just stick to Bleach and Kingdom Hearts like in the past years. I asked my brother why, and he said it's now easier for the average joe to be more current thanks to streaming anime.

WF limited nendroid? which one specifically? My memory's pretty vague concerning the prizes.

lines were fucking horrible for JAST's panel; I went because I heard you get free shit (which I did), but the staff had no idea how to handle the extremely long lines that managed to twirl around the entire half of the floor. And yeah, they turned people away even though there was like, 50 seats left in the back.

Oh damn, there was space in JAST's panel after all? I left because the staff wouldn't let me in line. Oh well, the FAKKU and MG ones were nice. Bamboo is a funny guy

It looked like it was a petite BRS nendo but I wasn't close enough to see it clearly.

guys you need to get a press badge
you can seriously just waltz up to panel lines 5 minutes before and get in and get up front. kalafina panel? damn line was a mile long and they kept moving it to the point that even staff didn't know where press was supposed to wait. eventually we just said fuck it and stood in the hall and staff was fine with it til it was time to go in. plus the ax badge is free. and you get free concert tickets. and shooting priviledges.

You know many women have several masculine features. The classic feminine hour glass body shape is supposedly the most rare, and a masculine body shape is more common among women. She seems to have several masculine and androgynous features so I guess it's harder to tell.

The reverse is also true, however. Males tend to have several feminine features here and there. It also seems to be the case that traps have very enviable legs~

i usually give people the benefit of a doubt but they just seemed so off to me. it might have been the really red lipstick, manoha, the slightly over the top wigs, and the fate's chin working in combination.

She definitely had the ass to be a girl alright. It was the face that threw me off. Like >>7583253 said, the lipstick/mouth area just seemed a little manly.
