Hey /jp/, so I got a new computer and decided to get XX-CAKE again because, well, it's amazing.

Problem is it refuses to work, no matter what I do, or how I run it, the end result is always the same, which is, it always comes out like this.

Is it not compatible with Windows 7 or something? I thought it may have been my monitor resolution but that can't be it obviously, but whenever I try to even use it or move the mouse around to select anything, the mouse is always far off to the left, not to mention I can't even see the controls and sliders.

Anyone know what could be wrong? Already tried AppLocale, running it as Admin, and running it in XP compatibility.

I'm not familiar with the program, but you could try to run a virtual OS within your normal OS.

It's a program to simulate physics on 2D images, in other words, you can make them move or bounce around, and you can do some really complex things if you're good enough at using it.

I know for a fact there are some people on /jp/ who use it but that was back in 2010, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

OP, I installed the latest version on my windows 7 and it worked out just fine.

Then what the flipping fuck is wrong with mine?!

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-

Did you even use Applocale for it? Or did you just run it without anything straight out of the zip?

I use applocale all of the time, but the program has a healthy amount of error messages so far so I might be screwed as well. Don't worry, I'll see if I can sort it out somehow.

virtualization is the answer for any software problem nowadays

Yeah it's working fine for me now, keep trying hard OP.

I guess I'll just try screwing around with it till something works, and if not, I'll try virtualization.

Thanks anyway /jp/
