It's the bee awareness week on german tv.
Basicly they say that bees are dying all over the world and if this happens we humans are fucked.

Let's have a bee awareness thread

>bees are dying
Jesus Christ, someone call the Doctor

>> No.7575930

Eventually, hummingbirds will replace bees by developing huge poisonous stingers that will stab you a thousand times a second.

That's precisely what I thought of as well.

>> No.7575935

The Bee Crisis is old news. Let's talk about the Banana Crisis.

thats kinda familiar somehow

What about the Strawberry and Perdition Crises?

I thought the Strawberry one was merely a Panic.

So, DoDonPachi thread?

I just can't get into the second loop of DDP. Every time I 1cc it, I don't make the requirements, and every time I make the requirements (sometimes multiple ways in the same run) I don't 1cc it. Auuuugh.

Protect the bees, protect the beedere.

I suppose they were talking about the colony collapse disorder. Last I heard of it, a Nosema species and a virus acting in tandem was the main suspect; Varroa mites were another possible cause and strains that can detect and clean out the latter were already developed.

Speaking of Nosema, other species in the genus are known for effects much more desirable to /jp/, such as turning most of their host's brood female - those fungi can only pass from mother to offspring and so benefit from a high ratio of females. A particular species (probably Nosema granulosis, judging from its host, but the authors don't explicitly name it) is especially curious because it has no pathogenic effects - it turns the male hosts it infects into females and localizes into gonadal tissue, but does not hinder the host in any noticeable way and even tries to ensure minimal harm by synchronizing its development with that of the host eggs, so that it can infect the next generation without unnecessary use of the host's resources. You could think of it as a shy little girl who curtseys and asks for your permission before entering each cell, repeatedly apologizing for having to use your body as her energy source and turning you into a girl in the process.

Don't underestimate bees and their kin. Ichneumon wasps in particular are fearsome, for they have a virus literally encoded in their genome that allows them to infect their host with their sting, disabling its immune system and ensuring that the wasp's eggs (also laid inside the host, of course) can develop in peace. In addition, the woodboring ichneumons incorporate metal in their mandibles and ovipositors to better penetrate into tree trunks and get to the host grubs located within - though metal-laden body parts are far from unique to them, chitons also boast magnetite-covered teeth and the scaly-foot gastropod uses iron sulfides in its shell.

Obligatory Jennabee post.

Is that really you?
Haven't you posted that already in another bee thread?

I think I posted about hive parasites instead. I like ichneumons and gender-changing parasites though, so I might've in an earlier thread.

Speaking of that, does anyone have that Wolbachia-tan image from a year ago or so saved? I've long since lost it and all I have is this thumbnail, but it was very cute.

I try to post the same reaction image to his posts every time so I can easily look up his previous works but I obviously missed stuff
though I guess the fact that he doesn't namefag it up is part of the reason I respect him

I've been wondering for some time now. Are you the same anon who keeps posting about being the little girl and doing cute/yuri things, and /jp/ loli mansion scenarios?

>> No.7576254

>>7576099
there should be screencaps of this anon's posts. they should be...

;_;

>> No.7576257

>>7576195
Why yes. I enjoy the gentle, relaxed romance between a little girl and her caring, reliable elder sister the most, so those posts are what I want to be. However, those short VN segments about waking in a mansion in Aokigahara are not my work.

>> No.7576267

>>7576257
are you the same anon who posted that post about a relic of christ loli locked in a basement and violated by holymen for her holy juice that smells like roses?

>> No.7576279

>>7576267
Saint Nicholas, I suppose? Yes - his relics are said to exude a clear liquid that smells of roses each year, so if he was a little girl, it'd make sense for her to be locked in the basement of a forgotten church of Myra and violated for her divine vaginal fluids.

>> No.7576296

dear lords, i dont want to lose you anymore, onii-chan. please do tell me how to find your posts. they're national treasures of some sick and twisted sort.

>> No.7576298

>>7576257

I wish there were an anthology of all your posts. Or some sort of Greatest Hits collection. You should write a VN or something.
