But if they're flying, wouldn't the view be stuck to constantly be staring up their skirts? Unless they fly why remaining in a vertical position, but that's not very aerodynamic.

I didn't play much of Starfox 64. I only had Starfox on the SNES. I'd still play a Touhou game like that though provided the controls were good.

3D doesn't work so well for danmaku games. I saw some gameplay videos of that Masterburner or whatever and while it might look entertaining, it's probably frustrating to play

I'd give it a try but I wouldn't really expect the gameplay to be very good

I believe you mean masterburner climax. Its based off of some fighter jet game, afterburner climax I believe, also it was either dreamcast or arcade, maybe both. Anyways masterburner climax is a pretty decent game, anyone with a decent computer should check it out.
