Well, instead of going all off topic like our dear other Anonymous here, I do have another sister.

She's very old, something like twelve years older than me. She's a half sister, from my mother's previous marriage.

When I was young, she was pretty cool. I loved her boyfriend, and he basically taught me humor. He was the older brother / male role model that I never had (My father (along with my mother) worked from 8-7, so I didn't get to see them much. It probably doesn't help that he took his work home as well to work on that).

Well, she's basically a baby machine. She has four children with my brother-in-law (whom I don't really keep in contact with, but he's by far my favorite non-direct family member). She's having a few issues with my mother. Something to do with her being all lenient with me and my sister, and being all hardass on her. In addition, she is kind of butt devastated about how me and my sister have luxuries (For example, we had college fully paid for. My sister had to find a job in college) that we had, and how my mother seemingly "was always working and didn't let her have any fun".

As a result, she kind of withholds the grandmother visits. It sucks on my mom's side, and my sister thinks she's somehow getting back at her by bringing her kids to parties/disneyland every other week.

But at family gatherings, it seems like there's absolutely nothing wrong.

Four years ago, I told her that she needed to talk to my mother really badly. She's been procrastinating, and they still haven't really had a discussion about the inequalities between treatment.

She isn't a bitch persay, but she does have some issues that he handles really badly.

My only sister is five years younger than me, and we actually share quite a few interests. She's a darling and very smart; she seems likely to be much more successful than me (not that I set the bar high).

That aside, she's a little naive. Her previous boyfriend was a tremendous jerk and it took her a long time to see it. I told her he was a jerk. Our dad told her he was a jerk. Our mother told her he was a jerk. Even the boyfriend's mother told her that he was a jerk and she should find someone better. She finally did break up with him, though, to my and my families relief.

She was mopy for a while after that, but we watched Pokecapn's Sonic 2000 let's play and that cheered up.
