In light of revelations, on part of ZUN, that many named touhous have known the touch of men and are not pure (including at least one miko), the japanese fanbase has been gripped by a shitstorm the likes of which has never been seen in the otaku world.
In an bout of heavy intoxication the enraged ZUN declares that he will execute (delete from canon) a single character to punish the fans.

I put my bets on Mima, for the following reasons:

1.- The Japanese and Western fandoms have been clamoring for her comeback for quite a while already. ZUN killing her off would be the perfect retaliation for all that faggotry.

2.- Killing Mima would actually give some closure to the overall Touhou canon. She's been dangling around since the PC-98 games and everything about her has been left unexplained.

3.- It is a well known rule that the protagonist's wise old mentor always dies. Mima is Marisa's mentor. This means she's bound to die.
