Honestly, I didn't think the game would be popular at all. I heard about it as an off-comment on a thread a long time ago and liked it. I wasn't even aware of the monster girl community thing before this game, but it seems fairly popular. Just the 50% patch has been downloaded over 2000 times now, when I was only expecting around 200.

Well, proprieties are important for an established translator. You could finish it anonymously without keeping updates, upload it somewhere nondescript, and walk away from it.

It's all a matter of what you want to do, though. I just detest "proprietary rights" regarding differences of languages. You can read it in English, but don't you dare fucking translate it to Italian, you dog. We don't want those evil Italians reading it, unless we can charge them twice as much for the same words.

How much harder is this game on hard? I didn't gameover once on normal except to the mimic I attacked stupidly while it was closed and to the book because I didn't get that you had to thunder thrust the first untranslated monster the first time I fought it. Also I see hell mode in the Encyclopedia. That unlocked by beating the game or something?

Playing this and AA concurrently makes we wish there were some 3D Illusion-esque monstergirl game. You'd select a base body type (lamia/harpy/alarune/whatever) when creating the girls before moving onto the finer customisation options. As monstergirls vary in form they'd all have different animations in the ero scenes or even type specific positions.

Ah, well. It'd be too much work to develop so it'll never happen. I can dream, though.

After avoiding the anime for years I've finally started playing Clannad, finished Misae/Yukine/Tomoyo/Kyou route so far. It's good but not great, some of the drama feels really, REALLY forced. Tomoyos Route was really good (though I hate the fact that Tomoyo after exists, I already read the story synopsis)

Damn, the Mimic battle on hard is frustrating. It takes 3 "Struggles to get out of her grapple and by that time you've suffered 3x35hp attacks. Afterwards you don't have enough rounds to do normal attacks and fill up SP for Meditation, and then she does another grapple.

Well, translator is currently at 75% of the script line count and with his pace I doubt he needs any help unless you have an idea for the problem the engine (nscripter?) has when saving descriptions (inherited from onscreen text) with single-byte english characters, and usage of English in the Encyclopedia.

Well, it is possible to beat it on hard but it requires a lot of luck. The number of turns before the struggle is random as is the number of turns after. Just have to get lucky, and I even got her to pop up for 3 turns and just go back into the box without struggle once.

Since I've already unlocked all the scenes (some monsters don't use some of their moves on normal) I finished it on normal. You also gain a level after the fight, and I think that helps later if you don't skip it.

because he's probably the game creator and most of the other artists were paid
considering it's a doujin game and a couple of those artists are pretty famous, I guess he did what he can. See how most of the important characters like summons and the four devas are not by him.

Because the game is written in a free engine called nScripter, and it has absolutely no room for error. Most nScripter games are just normal visual novels that display pictures and text, but this one has a pretty dang involved system to function like an RPG.

Other nscripter games (to compare what most people do with the engine) are Umineko, Higurashi, and Tsukihime.

For the fairy crash, it was because I had an extra newline character which forced the text off the screen, which (while most engines would just display text below the box) crashes the game in nscripter.

For the page 17 paralysis crash, it was because there was an un-closed if statement.
