The fact that nobody even knows what's /jp/ material anymore and the defining features of what makes something related or not to /jp/ have been getting more and more silly since the name change.

/jp/ used to be a place where a broad variety of threads were posted, now with so many threads being alienated, the vacuum left over is just filled with constant shit that people post because they're bored (because of the lack of interesting content on /jp/ due to it being pretty much just Touhous and VNs. Neither of which can really be talked about much until a new game or translation comes out).

Not saying everything posted that was alienated was /jp/ related. But this constant discouraging of crap only makes shitposters want to shitpost more.

I don't even play MMOs. I do think they should be supported here, so long as they're actually Japanese MMOs, or at least Asian. Shit like World of Tanks doesn't belong on /jp/, that doesn't mean every MMO isn't /jp/ related. Just because I don't play MMOs doesn't mean I feel they shouldn't have a place on the board.

what do you plan to discuss without knowledge of the game? this isn't air where spoiling material is untranslated work. people are expected to have read it raw or with translation tools. the only threads which don't have specific spoilers are general vn threads. specific visual novel threads always do.
