I might sell some SAS picks, regardless. I bankrupted myself this morning, so I could really use the gold. I don't think I'd sell them right away though. I think the price will go up once the market stabilizes some, and people realize there's less avatars on the market as a result of the SAS.

I have mixed feelings about the SAS in general. On the one hand, for NX buyers, it's nice to be able to pick exactly what you want without having to gamble for it (albeit at a higher cost per item). However, I think rares are going to get a lot more expensive. Despite only needing 2 avatars after Rebirth, each avatar will cost more and the cubes have a lower chance of producing a rare. I also foresee some people being unwilling to deliberately pay $6-7 for an avatar just to bind cube it, rather than just cubing junk from the gumball machine.

For some reason, fighter got his own trainer. I'd like to think she is just for event purposes, but epic quest is bound to her instead of pungjin. Why didnt we get bishie empyrean trainer for f.gunner?

Fighter itself is comical. You still wear those knuckle weapons, yet 95% of his attacks are kicks. Basic combo is punch-kick-kick-kick. Suplex skill is substituted by gunner-like sonic kick.

they play very differently from female fighters, much slower attack speed but much stronger offensive skills, however I think the best thing about them is how suplex is now a juggle, it really allows him to do some easy combos

Its actually very smooth, for a netplay game. Like those olden fighting games, still with manual input combos, but with rpg elements, inventories and stuff.
All clones and wannabes were made in 3d for some reason but they have terrible models, are very choppy and glitchy. So I guess there is a reason for such terrible resolution and pixelated sprites in dfo - they can maintain quality of the gameplay.

personally, in Vindictus I had a handful of problems managing inventory without expansions. That goes to dfo as well - without upgraded chest, you will be forced to throw away a lot of useful items. Other stuff like avatars and pets are purchasable from other players for an adequate price... Well, at least on japanese server. I dont remember any other vital shop items there.

That's typically the case, yes, but you still need those items to be decent. It'd be like saying SMT Imagine's set-up isn't all that bad since you can purchase the ridiculous cash shop armor and items from other players.

Because cube skills do the big damage needed to bring things down fast enough. Later dungeons things start to get a LOT of hp, so if you can't do burst damage very well runs will take a long time.

Witch is a holding slave, so FC is very highly suggested. No furnace would mean absolutely 0 room clearing power too. it would really be a question of dropping the awakening for Rain, 1 drill + either Burn, Spin, or Jacky at that point, which would be a damage build.
I'm researching it a bit now on the korean and japanese forums, because everyone seems to have the awaken.

The only reason I am shying away from Rain is because it is so underwhelming atm. I've never really liked drill, but it is the best damage and pretty good holding on sleeper.

For example... what room in a King's difficulty solo do you run out? The only one I grouped with was level 50ish and she wasn't running oom in a duo verd run with my ALs.

She also wasn't really doing much either, so not a good benchmark. She made my average clear time go up from 7-8 minutes to 9+ minutes.

There are early skills costing low but they do chip damage, so you will be forced to run around quite a lot of time. Most mana consuming stuff are powerful Nicolas and Ballacre skills. I mean, its not mana heavy all the time, only when you are throwing away cubes at every single goblin.

Been playing an elemental burn witch with no water branch with DE for ice mark.
My soloing/duoing is absolutely leagues above what it was as the tri-aoe build because Rain and Lava are stupid mana hungry now.

However in parties not having the awakening sucks majorly, but with burn you really can't afford the awakening unless you want to toss away AL (+200ish int for 2 people, 60seconds/150s) and maybe shururu. Burn is also a pain in the ass to keep up with in good parties because I'll be using machines and moving a ton.

I guess if I drop AL I can fit everything in there, but my elementalist grinding partner will hate me for it. I'll have to think about it when my contract is up.
Ex Swatter with its 3750% +23k does exactly what I needed for on the hard mobs.

Current build: Max MF, EB, Shururu, AL, DE, Befriend Fire/Dark/Light, EMM + EX3, Giant Swatter, Furnace, Gavitas +EX2, Lucky Feeling, Lava 10.
Probably going to drop Befriend Dark + Gravitas for Fusion Craft and maybe some AL for Lava potion + palm blast 1.

Gravitas is really strong, but setting it up is getting harder and harder because it has 0 super armor.
Drill is still the damage monster though.
If I had to rate the t3's dps wise it would be Furnace > Drill > Collider (holding slave) >>>> Grav.
A weak Grav (no explosion, bad aim) does about as much as lava potion, and a good Grav (with explosion, good aim) does more than Acid rain.

Burn is actually easier for witches to keep up than eles except for the water mark, because your skills all have CDs.

It was primarily a notice to say that rain and lava are both really expensive skills that pretty much become 'hard room only' skills (cubes cost <2/3 their mana). If I was going to swap out the burn points I would probably put
them in rain+lava, but I only use lava for the -move speed and boss killing.

Witches are pretty crappy damage to be honest post 60, so if you don't have the Awakening and Collider you are pretty much a useless party mate. Unless you have a +14 or something and Spam maxed EMM + Ex. Swatter (4500% + 30k on a 20s cd) + Broomstick bounce along with every other skill you might match an ele with a +7.

Just my opinion obviously. Mega Drill is still the 2nd or 3rd best dps skill a witch has, so the water branch is probably the strongest after Fire. Light is really for the holding and cleanup. Soloing after Final Pursuit just becomes a chore.

As an Ele I'd find Library's Int boost certainly welcome but not overly necessary. Everything on King's, with the exception of green named monsters and the boss(obviously) dies in one Arctic Burst or Black Hole combo at my current level (61). My gear is nothing but +0 Purples.

As for the mp recovery. That means very little to me. I haven't used a single mp potion since Rebirth. Granted, I have reduced mp costs from max mastery's.

All that said, I don't know your friends build, so my opinion doesn't mean much.

It's just some people's thing, they fap to how high their int can get. Eles do some crazy damage even at +0, but at the moment he's just testing the ex skills while we both still have the contract. AL is decently useful to have for normal parties, but sharing it is of the things only a witch can do. If I was really building around always grouping with an ele I wouldn't have DE.

They are really the definition of late bloomer though, since almost everyone gives them up in the 30s and at max level they are pretty much god tier dps. If you spend most of your time soloing and then duo with a good ele it really humbles you.
My mana gets raped way before his though, for sure. Even with both of us in T3 spammer builds. It's one of the primary reasons I've maxed EMM and Shururu for normal use. I wish we had the dual spec item.
He primarily runs Fire/Dark minor Ice though for normal use if you are interested.

Void is really based on your preference, but if you are running an X/Dark solo build it is very useful with the EX upgrade. In a 3 element build you are probably too tight for points though. Check out DFO source to see if they have anything.
The EX Actives are pretty much mandatory though, don't skip them unless you have a really good reason. People drop astral storm before the EX actives. Especially now that mana shield is nerfed.

It sucks badly that the new maps don't give much more exp. Unless mine does or something.
FP gives about 10-20% more exp than verd or outskirts per full run. If I wasn't being carried by the imperial army it would almost be faster to take the exp hit and do lower level junk.

If you are just going to awaken, farm normal. You should get 50 in 10-12 runs max.
Notes say that only grapplers have the stat changes now.

Nexon has really shown that they have no idea how to balance anything for the outerverse, so I'll be sticking to my EM for Rebirth even though I would rather be a more of a supporter or 'real hybrid' (not hybrid but great in everything Nen/Bender).
Might just continue my BM for the take it easy factor since they are so fun to play. Not a fan of PVP though.
