Alright /jp/, its almost 2 AM on a Monday morning, which means nobody will be in Walmart except employees so I can muster the courage to do my biweekly shopping free of as many people as possible.

Anyone else do this?

I tend to stock up on food and things whenever I do need to go out for whatever reason, so I don't have to make multiple trips.
In daytime of course, I can blend into the crowd. I might get a bit concerned about weird looks, but being the only shopper there late at night might get you more looks from employees.

there is different services for whatever area you live in so you need to google which ones are actually near you.

the quality of food is good where i live at least, but it varies depending on the service you use. the cost is the same as stores. they usually run specials and have big sales so you can find deals too. compared to mega stores it cost more though but meh the cost of not having to leave is priceless so it works out okay. i say it's more, but the prices are cheaper on some stuff and more expensive on other stuff.

i can't give you an exact answer you should just check it out yourself and compare the prices you already pay.

that feel when you're remembering when you were in high school four years ago taking a psychoanalysis test and the tester asks you if you know what 'aberration' means but you don't and reply 'apparition' as your only guess and then the tester repeats 'yes, aberration' and then you say apparition again and he says 'yep, aberration' and you do this two more times until he goes 'okay...' and moves onto the next question and you wonder if he thinks you're completely autistic but know it won't matter since you didn't know what it means anyway then your case worker says you went really well on the psychoanalysis and she was really surprised by your scores but she forgot to bring them so you ask her to bring them next week and then next week she forgot again and you ask and then the next week she also forgot and you keep bringing it up then finally she brings them and asks you if you want to see them which seems like a weird question because you have been asking for this long then she silently hands them to you and you read over the terrible scores and the analysis based on those scores such as how you're basically in 7th grade level in all the fields despite being in 10th grade and this is attributed to your absence from school and you say you weren't expecting these results to your case worker who is looking at you with a poker face and she asks what you didn't expect and you say for example the part where it says my mathematics is at a 7th grade level and she says oh and you realize the reason she wouldn't show you the results is because she had you take the test because she thought if she showed you were intelligent it might cheer you up but it completely backfired on her and she was helpless in the face of your insistence and she just stares at you with the same poker face. and the next week you have another case worker

We can rectify it. I don't leave my house unless it is pat midnight and only to go to Walmart, the convenience store, and Whataburger. My problem is that I only go to these three places regularly so the employers try to be friendly to me, I just act polite and try to get out of the situation. I get free pies from one of the Whataburger employees, sometimes a bag of fries, I don't get why...

The Walmart I go to is a super Walmart so I get fresh produce anyway, though the only non-process foods I buy are onions, tomatoes, garlic, and peas. I like it there because there are rarely people around the food sections and employees just stand around and chat with eachother.

Had a place I visited monthly start calling me by my first name. Then once one of the girls working there decided to troll me for laughs (nudging between my legs and trying to talk slutty) I was beyond done.

I used to go to a cheap pizza buffet place and the owner would bug me "haven't seen you in a while" and try to start conversation. But I let it slide since he would put fresh pizzas out according to my orders (he knew I would eat them). Apparently I got a reputation there after a waitress asked me why do I always show up alone. Haven't been back in over a year.

>There is clear evidence from many controlled trials in the past 25 years that beta blockers are effective in anxiety disorders, though the mechanism of action is not known.[15] Some people have used beta blockers for performance enhancement, and especially to combat 'performance anxiety'. In particular, musicians, public speakers, actors, and professional dancers, have been known to use beta blockers to avoid stage fright and tremor during public performance and especially auditions. The physiological symptoms of the fight/flight response associated with performance anxiety and panic (pounding heart, cold/clammy hands, increased respiration, sweating, etc.) are significantly reduced, thus enabling anxious individuals to concentrate on the task at hand. Stutterers also use beta blockers to avoid fight/flight responses, hence reducing the tendency to stutter.
