that's right, what about yours?

Cool opinions bro

I'm too lazy to think about my opinions right now , but I like all of her themes

Swap Magus Ball and Oriental Dark Flight and that's close enough.

Reimu and Marisa's PoFV songs are unfairly low rated.

>> No.7530286

>>7530265

I honestly think most PoFV songs aren't that great. I don't know why, but I just don't like them. I myself would put Love Colored Master Spark at the top, but that's just me.

the original songs are the party hit. Wind God Girl would be my favorite, but that is rather the main theme song of Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red...

anyway, Magus Night is the shit. Best song in GFW hands down...

I was let down when I found out that Sputnik Night from the Grimoire CD was a Seihou remix. It fits Marisa so damn well but you can't call it one of her themes.

I need to make a tier list because one is always better than the other right?

>> No.7530321

>>7530310

Eh, I only like Flowering Night and Gensokyo, Past and Present. I only like those mildly in comparison to other songs as well, they're not really all that high up for me. As for Fairy Wars, I'm a huge fan of the stage themes, although I like all the songs quite a bit.

>> No.7530412

Himorogi, Burn in Violet above Love-Colored Magic, yet below Love-Colored Master Spark?
I'm going to have to ask you to rethink this claim.

Stage 2/3/ex are absolutely some of his best songs. I love those influences that crept in there.

>> No.7530456

>>7530433

I have to agree that those are some extremely great songs. I was hoping Ten Desires would have the best songs in the series because of Fairy Wars but I was wrong. It's not bad, but it could be better I think. But I could still be pleasantly surprised by the later stages, so I'll just have to wait and see.

Threads like these always remind me how much I have left to learn about touhou. I only know Casket of Star offhand ;_;

Pic related, Marisa's face when she sees my limited song knowledge

the original Koi-iro Magikku is only about 55 seconds long. Both the stage theme and the IN arrange are much more climactic.

>> No.7530480

>>7530457

I don't remember the names very well either. However, I do remember how the songs go usually even though I forget the names usually.

OP you made me listen to Magus Night without having played the Stage itself yet. Fuck you and thank you, this is fucking awesome.

play the fucking stage (1cc all 6 routes on any difficulty). Best extra stage ever!

>> No.7530516

Okay, now that I'm listening to these songs again, I have to say I'm growing fond of the Ten Desires songs. I take back what I said earlier about it. I don't know why this is though. Same thing happened with IN songs.

This happens to me almost everytime a new Touhou game gets released.
I play it for the first time and think "Oh well those new themes are not bad I guess, but it's kinda disappointing...."
Then I play the game again and again and start to really like most themes as much as all the old ones

>> No.7530539

>>7530535

That doesn't usually happen to me. The only other time it happened was with IN, where I didn't like most of the songs at first, and now IN has my second favorite soundtrack. Also, I really love the Ten Desires title theme, always have from the start. I can listen to it forever.

Same for me. But I could tell that the songs I didn't like had a good amount of ZUN's peculiarities in them, so I figured they'd grow on me. Kyouko's theme is a good example.

>> No.7530577

>>7530567

Hers is pretty much one of the reasons I retracted that statement. I think it starts a bit weak, but gets much better during the later parts. The only other weakness to me was the stage three theme, which also grew on me.

>> No.7530589

>>7530577
Opposite for me, I loved the intro (sounds like old school game music) but the end seemed like it went nowhere.

I also didn't like Yoshika's theme at all. But after playing the game more, it's just awesome during the fight.

>> No.7530596

>>7530589

I see. The intro part of it always sounded somewhat irregular to me and still does, but I'm not bothered so much by it now.
