Is anyone on this thread actually a hikkikomori?
If so how do you survive?
and has anyone ever heard of a hikkikomori older than say 25? I dont see how you could survive without a job, parents or being rich.

Inheritance (I know I seen one guy here who inherited like a million dollars or something and lives off interest). Most others here live off of feigning depression or something and getting money from the government.

There's also plasma donation. Well, it's not really donation, it's compensated.

There are /jp/ers or former /jp/ers who have slashed their food budgets down to five dollars a week or so. A year's salary could keep them going fifty years.

I don't think of it as a job. I think of it as the path towards achieving satori.
