What is /jp/'s opinion on Cat-Head Imako? I read the first chapter and loved it. The rest of the chapters raged me like no other as MnR took the adorable character that is Imako, filled her with drugs, and basically raped her by a bunch assholes. I don't like NTR at all, but I always try to remember Imako based on her first chapter, and ignore the others.

That does not make MnR a "published artist" but he was featured in a book that essentially shows up and coming Doujinshi artists off. His books do not actually show up in stores, his work is Doujinshi, he works for himself. Don't start spouting shit you know nothing about and accept you were wrong.

MnR makes Cat-Head Imako. This one-shot character is hugely popular by fans, however publishers will not pick up a series because it is not what sells. They are trying to minimize risk and maximize profits. So MnR is SOL. MnR already has a few popular series and largely sells his books off his website, and at Comiket. MnR follows recommendations of Comic Tenma and turns Imako into a NTR series. Huge hit with CT and NTR-fans. Original fans of Imako and MnR feel alienated. MnR releases a few more books, but at the end tosses his fans a bone, by redeeming Imako in that was "Just a dream" (the ultimate retcon). However much of the books way over-do the NTR theme by involving hard fetishes and drugs to show his resentment to the series. Imako books are published along with other up-and-coming Doujinshi. I dunno, when I compare the series to the sequels, it seems that everything is additive. That there are no illusions to what happens in the sequels in Cat-Head Imako. Really her virginity was constantly being taken because every story was pretty much a delusion of Ichina. It just feels to me MnR was trying to turn the series into a NTR, when it didn't quite fit.
