You can trust me friend. I think this is my first time posting on /jp/ (I made a post in /tv/ but was pretty much ignored). I don't like anime that much, and am pretty much anti-japan (I come to 4chan for /v/ mostly) And the movie is pretty good.

The movie isnt low budget per say, there's alot of "cartoon violence" in it, and a few times you can tell when something might be fake, but the violence is so off the wall, and goes a way you don't expect you'll be too busy laughing to care if a head looks plastic. In fake some of the cheesey effects just make it even better. Picture related.

Kind of seems like they took the basic western low budget action movie plot (Person who's lost everything kills everyone responsible) and Japanafied it...Awesome.
