I'd really like some links about making a mask and possibly even some experiences.

Is the one Wyu wrote but I've heard bad things about it? Something about purposefully sabotaging to sell her masks?

the only guide worth anything is experience.
Try to make a mask, learn from your mistakes
repeat until dead.

If Wyu wanted to keep other people from making masks, why would she write a guide? it would be easier just to tell people that it's too difficult. Saying that the guide was made to not work sounds like something someone who tried it and gave up would say to save their ego.

tried following her tutorial and the clay she uses cracks a lot. Her method is not the one used by japanese kig makers
paperclay is a cheap method but most everyone i've seen use this don't have the best results
i suggest using some of the japanese tutorials like http://www.n-mew.com/
