Whereas if they're able to see for themselves they can find out that sexual pleasure might feel good, but realize that it's not the sole purpose of life, and that it's worthless to devote themselves slavishly to trying to find partners.
There's a reason why back in the old days it was suggested that gentleman should marry young, in order that they can raise the girl to be proper.
