Yes. A forum I frequented around 6 years ago had a new member that was obsessed with me. They eventually made a World of Warcraft account just to play with me. Every guild I joined they would try to join as well. Same thing with friends, if I even mentioned I like to talk to So and So, they would suddenly start to talk to them too. I was able to get rid of them in Burning Crusade when I server transferred.

I was stalked by some fat overfriendly neighbor kid.

Turned out he was getting beat by his alcoholic stepdad, his meth addicted mother didn't give a shit, and all of the other kids bullied him.

He mistook my not shitting on him on a daily basis for friendship and would follow me wherever I would go, and would sometimes sit on his porch waiting for me to make my daily run to the beerstore so he could follow me there. He would also ask my mother if he could hang out around my house, and would just sit around watching TV in the livingroom so he could bother me when I decided to leave my room to get food/another beer/etc. Never before have I despised a human being for simply existing so much in my life.

I feel that I'm stalked all time.

I'm paranoid and scan computer all time, change e-mail for my accounts every 3 weeks, I'm even looking on lights of my HDD and modem just to check if computer is working when I do nothing.

I used to take detours on bike rides and such in hopes that I'd run into some girls I've been interested in. 3 in total.
Nothing like standing around outside looking in through their windows or anything like that.

Some guy I was talking to online started referencing posts I made four years before that on a forum I don't even remember posting on, registered with an email I thought I told nobody about.
I've never been part of any social network, and the nickname I used on those forums was different from the one I was using when talking to him.
I never told him about the name I used before and obviously never mentioned my real name. Not that I've actually used my real name for any website.
I got really creeped out and deleted+blocked him. The next day he called my cellphone and talked about wanting to meet me. I hung up and didn't turn my phone on for months. No idea how he managed to find out my phone number.

I was still in school at the time and couldn't just stay inside like I do now, so for a long time I was really jumpy and paranoid when walking around outside. Thankfully he never showed up.

A few people tried hard to contact one of my online identities (IRC, forums, others). One was easy to find as I wasn't hiding that I was the same person, but the other one was rather unusual and indirect meeting that surprised me in some ways. There was even one more extreme case, but it's not worth mentioning as it was slightly creepy and the person was met with bans/ignores for their intrusion.

I don't stalk people much, even if sometimes I have access to some facilities/powers that allow me to stalk in certain communities in a rather unrestricted way, but I separate information gained through completly public means via information gained through private means and would not use private information to initiate a contact with a person or disclose it in any way to anyone. To put it simpler, I would only use public information if I were to contact a person.

Yes. A girl who had been treating me like crap during all of elementary school began to suddenly stalk me after meeting me at a busstop many years later.

She openly said "You look really cute... It's a compliment!" to me which I just found too sudden to comprehend. I got some creepy vibes from talking to her, mostly because I'm not very sociable -- especially not to people that aren't close to me, so I considered just acting like I had no time to stay. But I had to take the bus, and so did she, so we continued talking in the bus. She asked for my email adress and phone number which I stupidly gave to her. I got on the computer not long after saying goodbye to her, and noticed that she had already sent me a mail. She had sent a friend request to my Facebook account which I rarely log into.

Logging in to see what was going on, I checked her wall. She had posted stuff like "Love is back!" and "When will I get to meet him again?" several times since meeting me around 4 pm.

I didn't think much of it. I figured that something was going on, yet I couldn't really think of me to be in the position of having such posts directed at.

Following this she began to contact the few friends I've got, talking to them about me. Finding out their relationship with me. She started to text-message me very often, about every hour or so (which is alot to me since I don't really use my cell-phone for anything but calling people).

Well, I was too much of a shitter to actually do anything about this, but it ended as she probably realized that I really started to dislike her. It confused me why she was so interested of me, and the pathetic part of myself didn't want to tell her off as I was being liked by her.

Not really, unfortunately I was "friends" with this annoying kid during high school. He would always sit next to me as he did not have any other friends, no I didn't have many other friends either but this guy had zero fucking friends. So I seem like an asshole, right? He would actually go to the teachers sometimes to double check that my grade is right and not a mistake because it was better than his. If I studied my ass off for a test and did well and did better, he would say I just got lucky. He thought he was the smartest guy in school too, and he would always look down on others, especially the kids that didn't do really good in school, he would always say that they were going to fail high school and end up flipping burgers at McDonalds. He thought he knew shit about politics because he watched the news (probably Fox). He was way the fuck to clingy, if I went to the bathroom he would ask me where I'm going, and if he wanted to go to the restroom he would tell me, I would understand mentioning it to the teacher but I couldn't care less if he wanted to use the bathroom. He claimed that everyone else in the school hated him, which is complete bullshit, nobody cared for him because of his awful attitude, but nobody hated him either. Of course there is more to him than what I've said but I think you get the idea.

You people don't know what being stalked is. Some people following you to PK or otherwise bother you is not stalking, it's just being an asshat. Running into someone who is interested in you, no matter how coincidental, is just coincidence. Just looking up someone's name on the internet doesn't even come close to stalking either; in fact, lots of employers do this with applicants to make sure they're not hiding anything suspicious.

Stalking is when your obsession with someone disrupts their daily life. Is nobody obsessed with you? It's not stalking. Does it not disrupt your daily life? It is not stalking.

I don't think I've ever had any stalkers, I'm hardly anything to be obsessed about.

I do have a habit of stalking people I kind of like / admire. Although it's not gushing admiration and extreme obsession, it's usually enough for me to just follow and ... admire them, I suppose.

This mostly pertains to online, I'm far too timid to try this in real life. In short, we cleared things out, I got to know a bit of his past, he said that he didn't really hate me, and that he read my tumblr... But still, he said that he rejected me because he was racist. And he didn't like to be touched, especially by someone clearly of a different race than him... but that there was nothing wrong with my skin color. It hurt a bit, but after that we finally talked about anime, interests and 4chan in general, and well...

Yes I have been stalked online wasn't fun. It went on for over a year until I had to call the police on the guy. He had all of my information was signing me up for things. I was getting bills in the mail for thing I didn't even know what they were. He hacked into my email somehow, and got my bank account information. He took some money from my bank account online. Was able to get it back. He also went on craigslist and put my info down saying that I was giving away a 20 inch plasma screen tv to anyone in the country. You can only imagine how many freakin phone calls I was getting nonstop. He was calling me and threatening to kill me, to " cut out my liver". Wasn't fun at all. The police went over to his house took him into custody and then questioned him. They told me he broke down and balled like a fucking baby and they let him go with a warning.... This was a couple months ago. I'm still getting left over things in the mail that he signed me up for. yeah stalkers.....

it started off sort off when he used to walk the long way home so he could pass this girl's house and just glance and see if she was in. He started doing that regularly for some reason for a couple of months and never did anything more. Once, he got drunk and told my friend that he had bought night vision goggles and very occasionally looked into her house every now and then. My friend told me and obviously we had no idea of telling if it was true because he was drunk when he said it but he seemed like the kind of guy who was stupid enough to do it. We asked him if it was true and he said yes, and we subsequently took the piss out of him for doing this, he said he'd stopped after a while because he felt dirty about the whole thing (but still walked by her house). The girl in question was in his A-Level PE class and was on fairly friendly terms with him, and the stalking thing culminated in him attempting to choose the same universities as her when we were applying for degrees everywhere. This was probably less weird than it sounds because they were both planning to do sport related degrees and the unis in question were good for those sort of things. Again, me and the guy who knew about the night vision goggles took the piss out of his retarded ideas, and another close friend of ours also joined in the good natured ribbing of what is an otherwise creepy misdemeanor.

Everything was fine until I got a message from someone I know on MSN (this was before facebook was the in thing and everyone still used MSN) about what the guy had done. Anyway, long story short, I knew a stalker who stalked some girl, she found out and I managed to lift the blame by creating some convoluted back story about how I made up the whole thing. Her and her friends hated me from that point (I couldn't care less about them though) and my stalker friend was no longer seen to be a threat to anyone, For the next few months whenever he'd walk in to where we were me and a friend would put on a Russian accent and tell him to "Get out of here, Stalker" and he would find it amusing but everyone else would be cursing me under their breath.

This is significantly less interesting than I thought it might have been.

It had long since passed the popular older girl trolling the nerdy kid-stage. Now it was obvious to me that I was getting stalked because the shit she was pulling was way too involved for a joke. It also lasted about a year and a half.

It's kinda funny because I was never particularly bothered by it. This was before I had sworn off 3D so I actually considered that at some point I might get this bitch to touch my penis. I actually set up a few dates for her to meet me places but she would show up in her car and then drive off really fast.

Once I got her to tell me where she lived and she gave me an address in the neighborhood next to mine. My friend and I skated over to the address she had given and it looked like the fucking Munsters house from the outside. To try and steer things back I will contribute again. This time with the closest thing to stalking that I am guilty of.

I had a girlfriend. OK, before you freak out it was a long time ago. I gave up on 3D years ago but this was before that, and is a big reason why I ended up giving up. So, I'm "in love" and dating this girl and she starts hanging around with a group of people I don't know and staying out at night. My instincts are telling me she's fucking around on me so I start driving by her house late at night to check her whereabouts. Sure enough after a few weeks I drive by her house late one night and there was a car that I didn't recognize parked outside the back of her house. I went up to her window and tapped on the glass and nothing happens so I look in the window. I got to see my girlfriend getting nailed from behind by some slimy looking piece of shit. NTR'd like a motherfucker, I pounded on her window and they both come outside. Apparently he was under the impression that we had broken up a while ago so he tells me, "Listen, buddy. I've been fucking her steadily for six months."

I will never forget that sentence and it changed me. I never trusted another woman after that. The memory ruined a lot of relationships that I tried to get into after that and after a while I just realized I was no longer comfortable with that level of intimacy so I gave up entirely.
