Tea thread!

Many people dont like these, especially the mods but it cant be helped. People always forget how to take it easy, but at least some people still know how to chill. SO go make yourself a cup of tea, make it extra good today. Pictures of your tea cups/collections would be nice. Also name your favourite tea at the moment!

Hello!

What would you recommend for someone who has never tried anything besides plain brown store-brand tea?

>> No.7459170

Upton ZP82. You owe it to yourself to try it.

This is no time for tea! Drink Port, man.

If you dropped the Saten pictures for once, your threads would almost be /jp/ related.

Well you could continue with the normal bag teas, I'd say that try out all the variations of Green tea and Earl grey in the store that you go. Remember to be carefull with the green tea though, if you brew it for too long it tastes awfull.

I'm currently drinking 'Jacksons of piccadilly: Green tea with mint'

It is very nice.

Do you know how to prepare loose leaf tea at least? If you only know tea condoms, anything loose will be a step up. Get a teapot and a strainer. If you're getting loose Twining's or something similar, you'll probably actually save money if you start drinking better, fresher tea. Give this one a try. It's nothing too special but it's inexpensive and beats anything you'd find in a supermarket.

Would anyone be interested in attempting a tea of the month club? A lot of people here like tea but the conversation is always so shallow because we don't have any common ground to discuss in detail.

What a coincidence. I just got some tea in the mail yesterday. It's a fukamushi shincha. I wait all year for this kind of tea. Sadly, it's not as good as some of the others I've had. I cleaned out my water heater in anticipation for it too.
