How come the guys who translated recettear never released any other games? lack of sales maybe?
I'd love to play games like fortune summoners or trouble witches in english.

They announced another game a while ago, but I haven't heard anything since.

They're wasting their time instead by talking about things like console development and English voice overs.

They're working on Chantelise and will then do the SRPG EasyGameStation is releasing at Comiket. It's only two guys, which admittedly, if it were my full-time job, I'd be getting this shit out the door a lot faster, especially since Chantelise has already been translated, but who knows.

They made money hand over fist with Recettear, so it's not lack of funds. They turned a profit, and then some on that project.

They're probably just taking it easy, because they have enough cushion to do so.
