Korean casters are fucking terrible. They pointlessly shout at the smallest things and they just keep repeating the same words over and over again. The only time Korean casting has been any good is with PLAYGUU simply because it's hilarious even if it proves my point above.

Some casters (not the usual faggots like Wheat etc.) are enthusiastic but I know what you mean. However they just tend to scream nonsense down the microphone at the smallest things. "OHHHHHHHH A STORM! STORM!!!! AMAZING! HE STORMED! OHHHHH" or "OH MY GODDDD, this is such high level play! He just stormed a single marine!" is pretty much what you have to pick between these days, it's rather depressing. I wish casters would stop the false hype, they sound so retarded. I can understand certain situations when games are tense and such but otherwise it just sounds dumb, at least to me.

It helps that professional SC1 casters usually end up casting games that are at a slightly higher level than that modern SC2 casters are working with these days.
