You know on Japanese TV shows

Why is it that when a clip is shown, the people on the show watching it have their stupid faces put into little boxes so we can see their reaction? Why do the producers expect us to care?

It's like an even worse version of "mfw". It literally is "mfw", except in annoying-Japanese-celebrity form...
