I remember the first time I fought Ran. I barely made it to her and then that first spellcard completely baffled me and it felt like I came up against a hard fence made of bullets with no way through. Even her noncards were like hell. And that carpet looking thing pulsing behind her kind of freaked me out too. I was really shitty then (obviously) but I miss that feeling. When I go against something too hard for me now it's just not the same.

No, I just understand too much now. Hard to explain. Part of it was just being such a danmaku newbie. Now I see something and have some idea how I should do it, even if I can't.

I have played Ketsui though and yeah stage 5 seemed absolutely impossible the first time. That was nice too.

My first clear was around 368m with no stock left, so yeah I'd say it's pretty good.

Just 1cc'd IN on normal for the first time (with default starting lives)... but the time reached 5:00 during one of Kaguya's last spells. I hate those.

That's funny. First time I went against her I found her to be easier than expected. I was wondering how I captured her first spellcard so easily and how I even did it. I still haven't beaten her though, but that's because I haven't been playing much lately.
