Meh, I like angry Reimu idea but that face just isn't right.

It annoys me that the franchise's main character still doesn't have a great fig. Remilia has that awesome one with the spear, Marisa has that one where she is riding her broom and it lights up, Sanae has two well detailed and posed figs, but Reimu is stuck with poorly made ones.

Don't really review the figures I buy since I only buy very view figures that I love the way they look, even if it's in my own warped sense of aesthetic.

I only make a few comments regarding new purchases on /jp/ when I receive them. I don't know enough about objectively judging figures to give any constructive comments on the sculpting or the paint job, and I don't buy that many figures every year, and I receive them 2-3 weeks after most Japanese people receive them, so there would be absolutely no reason for people to read regular figure reviews from me.

i look around if people have put up their own pics because promotional pics from the manufacturers are usually shooped to hide flaws.

but figures pretty much come down to personal taste for the rest so i think reviews are kinda pointless for the rest.

for example i think the tony figure of miku looks shit due to the awkward pose. it looks like she's about to break her spine and ankle to me.

How so? The only movable one I have is the HMO Miku and she's pretty frustrating as well because of how loose the joints are and how precariously the multitude of parts attach. Fuck Parcelforce. It took EMS 1 day from payment to flying it halfway around the world to my country, and then parcelforce just sit on it for 8 days before finally sending me a letter asking for import VAT and handling fee. And how much do they want? £28.10 for a £55 fig. And that's on top of what I already paid for EMS shipping.
Once I've ransomed it off them it's still gonna take 2 more days for them to send it out to me. I was able to get a fig delivered DHL recently, as soon as it hit customs I was able to pay online, and it was only £8 for a similarly priced fig. Also took about 6 days from start to finish.
