Then you grab all the people you made from your fucking awesome people builder, you designate their connections with each other, then their personal preferences and those connections pretty much decide their little vague life story. Then you just decide how much filler population to throw in and let it rip.

Save the whole template town, and the player can share their kickass eroge setting with other players on their kickass forums or whatever, I don't give a fuck.

Considering there are a couple 'weird' rooms some of the AG games, I think the setting/story in the series is that the entire world is a closed-off replica where some higher being (possibly alien, but the point is it's more advanced) creates simulacrums of human life as learned from our cultural artifacts.

The actual plot of the game something along the lines of post-modernism. As the higher being creates sub-standard beings based on his own perceptions of our distorted views of each other, the simulation seems more and more fake the longer it watches. The company itself is keenly aware of this and is named after exactly that, Illusion. By the end, it drops the entire world which seems a pointless fake.

This winds up being a sort of meta-narrative on school slice-of-life anime which never proceeds anywhere beyond high school and how each individual, independent work in the genre winds up being the same closed-off replicated world. Beyond that, the simulacrum portrays the meaningless of life, via the sub-standard beings, as each character dully trudges through the same routines we all do and shows how un-unique everything is. Each character the higher being creates only deepens the feelings of meaningless as they all blur together into one entire pointless existence. Everything is just a cheap copy based off the way one being perceives another being in how they perceive everything else.

i am not sure, but I somehow think that the only way I would be able to enjoy some kind of MMO eroge, would be if
1. No chat functionality.
2. Sex is claimed if you win over others somehow, battle or something, rape or whatever. The loser cannot decline to this.
3. Being raped have minor negative consequences, and there is a game outside of being raped. In attempt to not have everyone simply making rape dummy dolls, doing nothing but losing to others.

Chat and sex between other players, kills most of any experience, as a rule of thumb, people are really bad at that kind of stuff. To make the sex be a result of other gameplay, could help preventing everyone from simply standing in a corner in a minor place of the game, shagging any and everyone, leaving the rest of the world and all other gameplay untouched.

Or so I think. But I still can't say I really see the appeal for it over a single player experience.

Artificial Girl 3 with all the addons and expansions, as well as the english patch. Can be found with "Artificial Girl 3"+"Hongfire" in google. Add whatever other mods you want.
Schoolmate, with the near obligatory korean final ani mod, as well as the english patch. Likewise, it can be found with google or on hongfire.
@home-mate. Not as great as the above mentioned, but it may very well be the most closely resembling their other games, with mods, but straight out of the box.
Yuusha, You Can't Escape From the Heroine. Its different, relatively great graphics, and it is more fluid. But you are sort of shoehorned to play it as they like.

Rapelay sort of deserves a mention for not being bad, but it is sort of a lackbuster compared to the others due to the lack of customizability, so the replay value of it is sort of lacking.
Sexy Beach 3, and the addons etc, are all great, and is most likely better than Rapelay due to the sheer content of additional stuff.
But the first mentioned games are probably the ones worth the most. You could always check out the others and the ones not listed were you to have time for it, or something.

I think you should relax, and look forward to the very expected mod to break all the limits on the sliders. (Even allowing you to have negative values on breast sizes or whatnot).

Its like you can have a skirt with one of several thousand patterns, but it is still that one skirt. You can chose another skirt with several thousand patterns, but then you still only have that.

Outside of the maker it looks to be a combination of all three you mentioned. The Graphics of Schoolmate,the VN Parts of @HM and a slight part of the roaming and Customization of AG. I managed to fix my problem. I'm not sure what exactly fixed it, but here are the things I did, in order:
-Change my display mode to Japanese
-Change my location to Japan
-Change the date and time display format to Japanese.
-Install the game as an administrator (Even though I am the administrator and sole user of this computer)
-Consult the readme included with the game, to no avail
-Run the game to paste someone an example of the gibberish text
-Be confused and humbled as it was now fixed

So yeah, I have no idea what exactly fixed it, but it's somewhere in there. Best of luck to those who share my problem.

I'm pretty sure I chose quiet instead. Putting that aside though, yeah Brave probably would be a better choice for female Kaiji. I mostly selected quiet because Brave seems to be one of the first voice to get clogged up with shitloads of my characters using it so I wanted to avoid it....That and I wanted a moe Kaiji. But it seems that reality gets angry when I try to run from it

Illusion overstretched themselves with the personalities, in their usual "one step forward, one step back" game design model. They seem entirely incapable of learning, and reinvent the wheel every game while forgetting what worked well in their previous games.

Although now that I think about it,there has been no confirmation from Illusion concerning that but still. Considering how in AG3 you had no parents,it is probably wise to assume you can't. Sibling crap though might be enabled in the full game if you give two characters the same last name in the maker... But thats just a guess from me.

Dunno till the full game but chances are any NTR will probably have to be player assisted. I doubt the Games AI has enough game to even woo itself. I kinda bet on it myself though that even if one characters waifu fucks another guy, neither parties will give a shit even if caught in the act. Or if not that then there will be some sorta devotion system where you can't fuck a girl till you overcome the guy/girl who has the highest points with her.
