I think the outside world eventually discovers it and either Gensokyo merges with the outside world and the Youkai most likely have to return to hiding once again or it's discovered and humans upon realizing that Gods and magic exists start believing again restoring the faith in a lot of the Gods as the Youkai make deals with the current human governments for coexistence and humanity reaches a kind of new age similar to what the moon has with a mix of magic and technology.

Yukari's sleeps last longer and longer. She only wakes once a decade. Now, her shikigami Ran has begun to take longer naps as well. Chen does most of the work maintaining the barrier. She is helped by her own shikigami, a young ferret youkai.

Reimu is long dead, and her great-great-great-etc granddaughter is the current Miko. She is weaker but more reverent and cheerful. Her donation box overflows.

Having read all of the SDM's library and become a youkai sorcerer, Marisa spent much of her time creating new magics in her house in the magic forest. After so many years, her interest has wained and she simply lives quietly. She still excitably enjoys danmaku battles, but no longer seeks them out. Instead quietly waiting for trouble to come to her. She had her home uprooted itself and walk nearer to Alice's home, with whom Marisa is good friends with.

Alice has stopped her making many new dolls, and instead focused on making a single, large, master-quality one. She constantly tries to bring this one doll to life, with no success. Many of her older dolls have become full youkai of their own. Alice is completely oblivious to her older dolls being alive, as over the long years she has forgotten that she used to need to over see each doll individually. For their part, the dolls love their mother and are content to silently serve her.

Marisa and Alice have tea together once a week. Towards the end of tea, Marisa will invariable mock Alice for her lack of success giving life to her doll. Alice will reply by noting how Marisa has changed from an energetic troublemaker to a creepy, sedate old witch. Tempers will rise and they will fight. Next week they'll come together for tea again, and the scene will repeat.

Ahh, I'm not sure where to go with it. I have some idea's with the SDM posse, but I have no idea if Sakuya should survive the 800 years or not. SDM is like one big family, so how one person fairs will effect everyone else. I can't really do anything with them until I can collapse Sakuya's wave.

You figure the average long living Youkai like Rumia or Mystia won't be too different, as long as they havn't been exterminated. That probably won't happen.

I think Alice is a stronger character then most people give credit. She keeps busy with her work, and she enjoys it even though it's frustrating that she's had so little progress. She continues to collect magical doodads as well as the occational doll made by someone else, but the dolls she collects are simply put on display and thus will not become tsukimogami.

Alice always enjoys tea with Marisa, and takes special pleasure in setting Marisa off. Alice is a hard ⑩ bitch, and she makes a point to enjoy it.

By and large things would probably remain much the same. The place is already stuck in the past after all. Some of the weaker youkai may have faded away or changed beyond recognition, there might be some more newcomers, but the place itself will probably be instantly recognizable.

The humans will of course be replaced, including the Hakurei (who will be on the 30th grandchild of Reimu or so by now). Sakuya sticks around for a few centuries by raping the time-line, but 8 might be pushing it. Probably eplaced by a youkai. Assuming the vamps age at all, another 800 years probably won't get them any further than, at most, mid-late teens.

Yuyuko won't change at all, Youmu might be somewhat more mature, or we'll be looking at her great-great-great-grandchild. Ran might be even more hax (though it hardly matters), otherwise unaffected, and Chen's shikigami might be looking into getting a shikigami of it's own by then, while Yukari rules time, not the other way around. Eitentei, Mokou, Keine, Shiki and Komachi probably wont have changed to any noteworthy degree.

The place is founded on the principle on it being easy for youkai to cause incidents, and for the humans (through the miko) and whatever youkai who feels like it to end them. As such, expect an endless procession of weird shit happening. The spellcard rules makes sure things won't get out of hand too easily, and if someone does go to far, she'll simply get gapped, and then it's all over save for the tentacle rape.
