If I made a visual novel, and the quality of the visual novel was on the level of something like FSN or higurashi, would you be willing to pay money for it? If so, how much? If not, why not?

-If you mean the terrible and unnecessary porn in F/SN, then none.
-If you mean the absolute shit known as sprites in Higurashi, then none.
-If you mean the beautiful art of F/SN, the deep and not necessarily obvious plot of both, and the lack of lawful-stupid Emiya, and a full soundtrack, then I'd be considering $20-$40.

If the quality was on par with FSN I'd pay at a minimum 60 for it. Probably more. Hell if FSN2 came out I'd be fine paying triple digits for it. But that's a ton of writing, sound effects/music/voice acting, artwork AND graphics work.

Higurashi was better in different departments but I felt FSN had better characters and was more entertaining overall. So 60-triple digits.

I thought on it some more, and I was ready to get Fate form paletweb, even though it was ~$100, so I guess I'd be willing to go up to the low to mid 100's, although it'd better be a damn good game.
