If I go to Japan and rape someone what is the likelihood I will be able to get away with it?

Something like 95% of rapists get away with it in Finland, and the 5% mostly has parole sentences with barely any fines. Unless you are violent enough to leave marks of violence (bruises etc), it won't even count as rape and the victim won't have enough proof to get you anywhere even if they file a case for sexual abuse. Having sex with a passed out person won't count as rape, either.

I fucking hate this country, we have no justice ;_;

A foreign rapist? They'll have a field day with you. You'll be the number one suspect from day one.

This is what the Japanese think you are like
also once you are in jail in Japan you don't get out. They'll do Guantanamo Bay style interrogation until you confess to every crime in the country.

Consider raping someone in your own country

It's just sad. If anyone I know got raped, I would strongly advise them against filing a case (as most professionals at help centers and such also do), because the law punishes the victims and not the criminals.

I hear in some countries people are put to jail when someone says they were raped, here they demand so much hard evidence few victims have it. At least 95% of victims don't file a case, of those who do, over half feel that the authorities treated somehow demeaningly. The juridical process takes years and the sentences are something like 2,5 years of probation and a fine of 500-2000 euros for raping a child multiple times. In most cases, they just end up saying there's not enough evidence. The result is less than 1% of rapists are punished in any way, and the punishments those few get are laughable, way less than petty financial crimes.

It's just awful, plain awful. This is the ideal land for sexual criminals. The EU and Amnesty have also noted this.

I was sued by a woman in America for rape.
Beware of american women pointing fingers and being a minority in a land full of un-native americans.

In America you can sue someone for in excess of $5,000,000 for downloading a 3 minute song.
Such great justice!
