Uh... what they're saying is very simple and correct. What's so hard to follow about it?

Granted, the amount of unique kanji in a game doesn't necessarily reflect how often kanji is used over hiragana, so it doesn't necessarily work as an indicator like that, but I guess it's a safe bet that if a game does use a lot of unique kanji, it's probably more apt to use kanji over hiragana.

A notable exception would be Muv Luv Alternative, which doesn't have a very impressive unique kanji count, but uses kanji over hiragana for even the most simple words very often. That's a good example of a compressed script that's probably longer than the numbers imply

We wanted to clarify one point: we have started “pre-processing” the orders for the game, but it has not actually begun shipping yet. Since we have so many preorders, we’ve learned that it’s faster to prepare the postage etc. on the envelopes ahead of time to avoid delays getting the game out when it arrives at our San Diego office. It's not usually up for a couple hours. Is it really so hard to look at this thread and see when it was posted and then extrapolate from there? Oh yeah, this is where people beg and whine about how the shows they're watching based on games aren't being translated and then buy it when someone says that a patch will be released the next day. Why would I expect any kind of intelligent thought?
