The only right way to display your figures.

Well, that can't be it as they are all severely lacking in hot glue.

These minimal showings work to a point, but if you keep buying figures then you run out of room quickly.

>> No.7278188

Personally, I think it's a lot more charming to just have figures places randomly around the room on whatever spot suits them, rather than needing to neatly shelf them like some kind of museum exhibition.

You know, as classy as they look here I have to agree with you.

I have my figures on display on separate shelves around my room. I have a small brush I use to dust them off every so often.

Good taste my friend. Highly approved.

And you're giving each figs lots of space, but that's something many japanese apartments can't accommodate.

>> No.7278284

Well, I try to display them properly, but there's barely enough room for them all as it is.

My figs are still in their boxes.

oh my god look at all those unboxed figs

I like how the owner actually put thought into placing his figs.
For example, sections with nanoha figs forma a large central cross. Classy.

where does one acquire cool shelving like that?

For 1/8 size, 5 display well per shelf, 5 on top for 25 total. More if you stuff them in without any consideration of the layout

>> No.7278607

>>7278495

Depends on size, my 1/5 Kenshin and Senhime take one shelf because they are rather big, even if its because of Kenshin taking a lot of space due to her pose, I could put another up in there as Senhime does not take that much space.

As someone said, you can put about five 1/8 in a shelf., maybe six depending on their size, especially their base size.

Where do you even buy glass showcases like that?
IKEA?

I have no detolfs and on my shelves I can easily place ~20 figures under glass. Also few figs on my desk.
People who aren't unboxing their figures because HURR DURR IT'S SAFER TO KEEP THEM IN BOXES or HERP DERP I HAVE NO SHELVES SO THEY WILL STAY IN BOXES are fucking disgrace.

Why the hell are you buying figs.

>> No.7278658

>>7278640
Black detolfs from Ikea. Most common displays, cheap and not bad looking.

But if you want something really good, you should check some furniture shops.

>> No.7278709

where's that guy with boxed figures in his detolf

>> No.7278752

problem about the ikea display cases is that there is no cover for the corners, so dust can get it.... So your going have to clean it more often.. both the glass and the figure... a real pain in the butt especially if you painted it or its a detailed figure.

Its better to buy the higher quality stuff for 50 more bucks.

It is hard to get fully transparent glass display outside unless you custom order them. And those cost a bomb.

If only I hadn't an economical mess at that time. It was really a good item with both being a lamp and a figure.
