You're not a true NEET unless you have Exploding Head Syndrome.

Exploding Head Syndrome people only in ITT. What kind of sound do you hear? I hear something like a metal bowl hitting the ground.

>> No.7247234

I had no idea this was a medical condition. I've heard what sounds like a shrieking of metal being ground down. Kind of like nails on a chalkboard, and it gets progressively louder until it just stops. I thought that was just anemia or something.

The sound from exploding head syndrome only lasts half a second. You should get that checked out bro.

I can't say I've ever had anything like that, but I have fainted a few times

am I moe yet?

>> No.7247257

I think I have a light case of this shit. It is just constant low humming, like energy surging through a power-line.

>>7247234

Or like a very prolonged "beeeep"? I thought that happened to everyone.

That's not Exploding Head Syndrome. The constant beep sound apparently happens if you use the computer too much. This might be bullshit though, it's just something someone told me and no one else gave me another answer.

That's actually the sound of the cells inside your ears dying, it's the last time you'll hear that frequency so try to memorize it.

Why is everyone shitting homestuck out of their ass now?
When a fucking webcomic reaches /jp/ of all places, you really have to ask what happened.

>> No.7247282

Do earworms count? My recent one lasted 90-ish hours.

>> No.7247288

I had tinnitus for a while. It was fucking terrible; it was this constant ringing in both ears. I couldn't think, I couldn't work, I couldn't do anything.

The only thing that made it bearable was listening to classical music at levels just high enough to drown out the ringing. I would listen at my computer all day and whenever I went out or went to bed I brought my MP3 player. I had to buy a couple so I could swap them whenever the battery died. I fucking hated talking to people because it meant turning off the music.

That's called tinnitus and it has many causes.

I've fainted a couple of times. The first time gave me a concussion, and a scar under my left eyebrow. The second time, I just had a concussion.
Both times were in the first year of highschool, in the middle of two different classes.

I don't think I have what you're referring to but when I go outside I get a weird tingling sensation across the top of my head - like a tightening, too - and my lips go really numb. I can't breathe properly and my one aim is to avoid every single person in the street. I have to get drunk before I leave the house and I have to make sure to always have beer in supply or else I'm marooned.

>> No.7247363

Not sure about that.
I get sleep paralysis on a regular basis (2-4 times a week) though.

It was my own damn fault. I was working on a project which had to be completed the very next day, so to meet the deadline I had to work all night. In an attempt to keep focused I turned up my headphone amp too loud and listened for too long.

I got this one stuck in my head intermittently for a couple of days. It was incredibly annoying, it even happened when I was trying to sleep.

I have constant ear ringing. I can force it to get louder too. I don't know what it is.

>> No.7247474

I had to check wikipedia and I'm still not quite sure what exactly exploding head syndrome is. I'm even more confused about what the hell it has to do with being NEET.

I hear what I can only explain as a very loud inverted beep if I'm aware while entering sleep. It's also accompanied by a bright flash and a feeling of falling down.

That's only happened a few times in my lifetime though. Sleep paralysis is much more common but there's no loud sounds.
