I just ordered a Takemikazuchi(see image) not long ago but it has been almost 10 years since I have assembled one of those plastic model kits.

They are still easy to assemble right?

I have a few COSPA shirts and they are quite fashionable, actually. They are all full shirt prints and high quality, not like the cheap looking weeaboo shirts with the generic iron-on in the center you see most mouthbreathers rock.

Still, every time I put one on I admire it for a moment and then throw another layer of clothing on over it. Occasionally I'll have the shirt somewhat visible underneath the other layer but never in the general public. Just hanging out around my house, really.

I came across two Koto Sailor Mars for $40 ea. Still trying to find a good price to tag on them, but I'm sure I'll make a god damn killing off these. most of what I've bought from them have been muv-luv figures though.

Shit, I almost hotglued a figure by accident. I was fapping a little earlier and was almost naked, so I decided I wouldn't bother blocking the ejaculation. It still went a little beyond my expectations and I noticed I got some on the mattress right behind me, but I didn't worry too much.

IDK I felt the ending was decent. At least for a DEEN show. It kind of left the ability for a second season while also wrapping up the first one nicely and giving a solid answer to the relationship. Though the pacing was pretty bad and rushed and there were a lot of things that seemed kind of random and misplaced.

I hope Alter ends up doing a Rose figure, Though I wish the show was more popular because there are so many different cute outfits Rose had and I know damn well I'd buy 3-4 different figures to display them. Hell I'd probably end up getting a WAVE beach queen one if they made it (doubt it though).

Apologies for late post and shitty (probably outdated - last trip was in 2009) map.

Most of the shops depicted will have figs, and if they don't you'll figure that out soon enough. I've probably forgotten some places, and there are a bunch I have never explored, but it's a start?

I'd recommend Liberty and Mandarake for used, Sofmap and Asobitcity for new. My conclusions are based on relatively limited experience though, so please don't take them as gospel (anyone with objections, please chime in!). Asobitcity doesn't have much in stock and their prices aren't great, but I have occasionally found things there that were sold out elsewhere (although den-den town in Osaka was the best for that, in my experience - Ikebukuro was OK too). I wish I could remember which Sofmap it was that I liked for figs (they had good sales - I got a couple new for what they were going for used)... but they always seem to be shuffling which location has what, so you might as well look through all of them.

I'd recommend hitting Ikebukuro as well, and everyone raves about the Mandarake(s) in Nakano though I've never found them that fruitful.

Hey /fig/, I've had the Griffon Remilia Scarlet since she came out last year, and the spear was always giving me grief - the little notch carved into it didn't really match up with the stand, so in order for her to hold it, I had to balance it in her hand, which worked well enough. Every once in a while it'd slip, but I didn't think it was a big deal.

I was at a conference in the city today, and for whatever reason, someone came into my room - I think my Mom came down and decided my shelf was dusty. I come home and Remi's spear is in half, with the spearhead in front of her and the handle on the floor. Pick up the handle and go to put it back in her hand, and the tiny piece that sticks out from the spearhead and connects into the other half broke off.

I'm so upset over it right now, no fucking idea why she decided to even come over here.

It's really the tiniest notch that fit into the other side, so even if I did find it, I don't even know how well gluing it back on would work. The only option I think I have is just gluing the two pieces together, but the spear is only thin enough to fit in her hand at the middle and it's find of annoying to get it in her hand without taking it apart first, and I'm afraid that if I do glue it together and it falls out of her hand again, then I might not be able to get it back in. But it's either that or nothing at this point.

A similar thing happened to me with the Griffon G1 Flandre's Laevateinn. I just superglued the little motherfucker back together and gently placed it back in her hand. She's in a display case so she doesn't get knocked around much.

If this is a concern for you I would probably find a way to permanently affix the accessory and be done with it. If you can do it without affecting the overall cosmetics just go for it. You'll lose the option of taking the item off but since it's kind of a pain in the ass, who cares?

That said, this whole thing should be approached with extreme caution and should really be considered a last ditch effort to make the figure display-ready. I abhor the principal of modifying art, but in a situation like this it probably can't be helped.

Yeah, I desperately need a display case. Everything is sitting on the top shelf of my computer desk, which is full now, so I was planning on getting one before my next figure which should be next month. Figures I put it off 'til the last minute and something falls and breaks.

I think I'm going to glue the spear together and hope for the best, but I really don't wanna glue it to her hand and to the base.

Griffon is a manufacturer and as such it have a reputation and not a good one.

We dont care about "brand", each figure stands on its own as Alter's F/HA swimsuit line are known to be leaners, GSC have several misses and Max Factory made the occasional leaner.

And yet Alter, GSC and Max Factory have a good reputation, Griffon does not because they have NO quality control.

We been gone over this, if they were not milking Touhou (and so getting money out of the secondaries) we would unlikely to have this discussion or even this treads because /fig treads on /jp were pretty much non-existing until they started to make Touhous.
