I like to think that my waifu is in a parallel universe, in my same condition, worshiping me in some anime that depicts my life or how it would be if it was an anime and had an awesome plot. Just like me of her, she would have an image folder full of pictures of me and would post them on her own /jp/, complaining to all the waifus --of other people on normal /jp/-- about how alone she is. She would talk about how I am superior and all the other /jp/ users --that our waifus obsess about-- are all jerks and man-sluts. Don't worry, your own waifu would defend you and say that I am the slut while you are the pure one.
We are not truly alone, just separated by far-away dimensions.

Maybe when we both die we will be united.

Yes, but each waifu is unique in one's own mind. That is the "real" waifu. If ,say, someone else has the same waifu as I, the one that is in my mind and the one that I perceive through my own thoughts is unique to me and me only. The waifu the other person thinks about is different than mine.

People shouldn't fight over waifus, each one is unique in their own way, specifically to you.

You're steering pretty close to an ontological argument here. Why not just say that to exist is better than not to exist, and since your waifu embodies the best qualities in your opinion, including the quality of being extant, she must exist?

Nah, that's why we can never have a 3D girl. One of the great things about 2D is that you don't have to worry about things like being too clingy. You don't have to read guides on how you should ignore phone-calls, restrain your compliments and all sorts of other bullshit in order to show her that you're not desperate.
