I fucking suck. I shouldn't get hit by half the stuff you do, I see it coming. I also rely on her air 2a far too much, though it seems to work. I can never remember her good midscreen combo in time, and I don't even know if she has any good long combos. It's mostly 'OH SHIT OH SHIT'. Especially if I land a hit.

Attention Tasofro, there are a few things I would like to bring to your attention:
1. super armor weather sucks.
2. If you swing a 15 foot long glowing blue sword through someone, it will probably hurt them, even if they're more than an inch off the ground. There's no goddamn reason for Youmu's ubersword spellcards to only hit ground targets.

Hey guys, could I ask, is it possible to fuckin do anything to Suika at all if the Suika player doesn't screw up? Because as I see it, there's no range at which she doesn't have the advantage.
Long range: She has a retardedly fast fireball, automatically aimed directly at you, that hits you instantly during your delay if you try to use any ranged attacks
Mid range: Her bombs cover a ridiculous area and do up to 2k dmg for a direct hit.
Close range: She has some weird spinny attack that comes out virtually instantly and knocks you away, so if you have any delay in your blockstring, you get knocked back away, and have to crawl through fireball and bomb spam all over again. Her basic 5AAAAA combo also does a lot more than anyone else's, and you're still in danger from the bombs at this range.
In other words, I raged. Hard. I couldn't find any damn way to do anything except when he fucked up and let me get a hit in. There was no time during about a half hour of getting my ass kicked over and over during which I did something clever and hit him, the ONLY time I could ever even touch him was when he screwed up. I was playing Youmu, so it might not be so bad with other characters, but christ, HOW DO YOU GET PAST THIS SHIT?!

I play youmu myself and have had no problems whatsoever against suika. Not like youmu has that much long startup moves, just use her b for pressure as you graze through the opponent's bullets. Close in and force them into corner. Youmu's combos also actually do more damage than suika's

Marisa's alt 623 B/C into alt 214 B/C is now my favorite combo in SWR just because it is so fucking absolutely retarded and awesome. God that shit is fucked up and funny looking. Even better if you start the combo with the column 22 B/C from far. Fire rips across ground, broom picks them up on the rocket, get them in air corner and spin your fucking heart out. It just really matches the character.

Incredible Suika. I saved each and every replay.

I think I got too easy to read (and thus beat) after a while. I probably should have quit while I was ahead. I already knew you could tell everything I was going to do, and I still did the same old things. I'll work on that if we get another chance to fight. If Suika weren't so short, maybe things would have been better in the pressure department...

If Iku had decent projectiles and less "rolling" time when she got up I'd enjoy her a lot more. She feels like she belongs in melee but if she gets knocked down she can only go to one corner or the other. I fucking love her 623 B/C autoguard. That is one of the best moves in the game imo.

So who else besides me plays a lot of random? Has anyone noticed that the random is incredibly biased towards specific characters? I am coming up on over 200 matches random. Sakuya, Suika, Komachi and Alice seem to appear considerably more often than others. Aya, Yuyuko and Yukari appear almost never. I have randomed Yuyuko literally twice (I've counted since I consider her a main) in over 200 matches.

Iku's projectiles aren't exactly crappy. Learn to use her projectiles properly. All of them save maybe 2C are useful to her. Use her good alternate skillcards; with them, she can turn into a projectile spamming monster that can strike quickly.

Her gigantic wakeup slide can be advantageous too. If you're knocked down in a corner, you can slide yourself to the middle of the stage and render the opponent's oki useless.
