Why does Japan make such bad music? It's all poorly produced pop music which makes Justin Beiber sound good, shitty metalcore, and noise music revolving around some guy banging things around in his kitchen.

Japan makes a lot of music and tons of terrible music, it's because of production of "artistic" goods in Japan is nearly on industrial scale. That means 90% of "composers" are just putting generic j-pop notes in random order with changed instruments without caring about being original or creative, kind of like in low budget films they make background music.

when i watch a japanese channel, i feel like i'm watching the same thing all over again, every men look like girls, its' always some sort of cheery music or music from anime, there's no real originality,
they do the same thing everytime.

there only one thing i must admit, i'm not into j-pop but some music are really catchy like electro world and dreamfighter from perfume

in the end the only thing i liked from japan is Nujabes (and every guys doing music like him) and Genki sudo
