Grind Practice mode. Start off by using the 5AAA combos in and out of corners, and see what can be chained to the end of them for more damage

EX: Chiquita's 5AAA. Chain 236C to it out of the corners, and 5A 2B in corners.

Do something like this for EVERY character, and use different methods each time. You'll notice a difference then next time you netplay.

I couldn't host until yesterday, either. I have Vista, and I had the same problem; IaMP and such worked fine, but this didn't. DMZ was enabled, ports forwarded, all that shit. I checked my ipconfig and what my router was forwarding to--they matched. I couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong.

If a person who mains can play a character at 100%, I'd be fine playing every character at around 80-85%. And it's probably more fun for the other person who plays if he can play against multiple well played characters instead of the same one again and again and again.

Don't head blindly to the opponent, that's how he'll stick a foot in your mouth. Throw some cover fire or trade bullets before advancing.

With everyone, you need to build momentum by throwing bullets first to force your opponent to block or graze. That's the opportune time to strike with melee.

Remember the rock/paper/scissors formula of IaMP/SWR. Bullets > Melee, Melee > Grazing/Flying, and Grazing/Flying > Bullets.

Pick a main and stick with her, and watch youtube videos of how others use her effectively.
