As you all lay there on the bed wondering what to do, eventually Sanae suggests playing spin-the-bottle, much to everyone's surprise and Youmu's consternation. A bottle is located and suddenly everyone starts to get kind of nervous once it dawns on the group that we really are going to play this, and if it goes like it should there's going to be some kissing going on.

You've got butterflies in your stomach thinking "Is this really happening?" and you do your best to avoid showing your flittish-ness. As you look back up from putting the bottle down to spin it, you notice that all the girls scooched up facing you, some of them looking kind of nervous themselves, but blushing and coy.

You spin the bottle. It feels like it took an hour to spin even though it lasted only a few seconds probably. The bottle slows down and down and then.. stops. You look up and realize it was pointing off at empty space.. Time to try again.. you spin it again and after another agonizing wait, it stops again.. but this time you're pretty sure it stopped facing someone in the group. You look up and see..

To fail to point to anyone so many times in a row must be a sign from the Gods, and you might as well obey if the priestess was a part of your group.

As you stare at the bottle with a furrowed brow, you realize no one has bothered to spin it yet. Well, it might have been one of them using their many powers to prevent you from succeeding if they were that reluctant to play.

You look up, ready to suggest some other game in that case, but find that the girls are gone. Indeed, even the walls were different. You were in your room again. There were no girls ready to play and slumber with you. You were alone again. And /jp/ is full of shitposting once again.

Everyone is practically holding their breath in surprise, and in this silence you can hear her breathing quicken. Your own pulse skyrockets, your blood turns ice cold as you realize that you actually need to make good on the game for real, and that this is not some daydream.. you don't know what to do or say, you almost want to get up and run because this all came out of nowhere so sudden and moved so fast.. Damn that Sanae, why'd she have to suggest this? Before you can think of something to say to stall for time, Reisen lets out a nearly inaudible squeak.. her eyes start to open wide, you look down to avoid their effects, and she says, in a quiet, soft, surprisingly high-pitched voice, ".. Uh.. ehhehh.. I.. I'm waiting".

Your own breath quickens now too, you feel like you're about to just freak out, like your heart is going to explode from the deep, steady thumps; a deluge of adrenaline surges through your veins and you can literally feel its affects spreading across your body ... and you feel your face get red and hot, shit, it's spreading fast.. You must be beet red already... Maybe it was the adrenaline, maybe it was you trying to stall for a bit more time while going through the motions, but you shakily move slightly closer to the lunatic rabbit..

"WHAT!!!??" you scream in your mind, "I'm actually not being told to go awa-" Before you can finish your thought, Youmu says in a somewhat growling tone "This is really stupid, can we NOT do this?" before thrusting her head under the covers making a grunting noise. Shou says what you were thinking, "Oh Youmu, you're shy aren't you"... and then.. the conversation dies off again.. you and you realize that you still have not kissed Reisen. "I'll get it over with fast" you think to yourself, "I'll just not think about it", and you make a fast move over towards Reisen. You're kind of excited, you do like Reisen in a way after all, this wasn't completely unwelcome.. but you're still a nervous wreck, and it only gets worse once you inch towards her..

Before you can think, Reisen moves towards you too, you stop and almost reverse yourself, in fact you do bob back about an inch.. You're petrified.. an etenity goes by, complete silence.. it was probably only a few seconds, but to you it was both an eternity and you can feel it. Reisen slowly raises sporadically shaking hands up to her head.. what is she doing, you think to yourself? You don't have to think for long though, as she then grabs her ears and pulls them up a bit.. She asks you to grab her ears, and you reach out slowly.. You can hardly even feel the fuzziness on the ears before you completely grab them, they are that soft and warm, a bit like the short fuzz behind a kitten's ears...

You dismiss these speculations, and look around. The two and a half humans, bless them, just look confused. Your face turns red again, but for a different reason this time, and as the pressure seems to build in your spinning head, you start to panic. Before you realize it, you're out of the room, bounding away on all fours.

Sanae's voice drifts from the door behind you. "Did you really not want to kiss her that much? You should have said something! There's no need to use your ability in a situation like that! I mean, maybe it was a bad idea to..." Reisen apologizes for her loss of self-control, and Youmu quietly comes to her defense. Shou quietly offers to retrieve you, and by that time you've stopped, curled up outside adjacent to the door. Time passes, and you're encouraged to return, Reisen offering profuse apologies which you grudgingly accept. It's all a lie, of course, but it makes for a good story. Only Youmu seems to think that something is wrong with the whole series of events, but Shou convinces her to dismiss it. As the night returns to a semblance of normalcy and the chatter picks up, you idly wonder how Satori will react when she reads the whole thing.
